Very friendly place, full of people, so much fun.
The place is pretty basic in terms of dormitories but they are pretty clean. Have almost hot shower (warm) which is really refreshing after so many cold showers in the last 2 months.
Nice little kitchen,...More
This is place is in the center of santa elena. They have all the information you need to visit one of the most BEAUTIFUL places in the world. The staff are more like tour guides, very knowledgeable and helpful. Great for families or single travelers.

The breakfast was provided in the attached food spot Taco! Taco! When I was there, there was a choice of fruit with yoghurt and granola and toast or tacos with eggs. Both were reasonable. I am a vegetarian and so I had both on occasion. They have free coffee all day.
As the other respondent said, the shuttle is not free, but I can't really imagine it would be as Santa Elena is way up in the mountains. A resort close to the airport could have a free shuttle theoretically, but I never saw any free shuttles really. There are plenty of transportation options for tours and activities. Sometimes the place that you get the tour will send transport or the kind folks at the pension can help arrange things for you.
