I'm so happy I was able to stay here. I originally had issues getting a hold of them via email, but that was apparently due to their internet provider. Its such a cozy place, warm/hot shower, clean, and my favorite is the coffee at 5:30 am, nowhere have I found coffee that early. Diego and Leo are also amazing, they...

One of the best hostels I have stayed in. Right on the main street, so an excellent location from which to explore the surrounding area. The staff are exceptionally helpful, providing us with tons of information and helping us get the most of our two days here. Very willing to book taxis/shuttles/tours etc which were all a great success. Strong...

Friendly Staff, great location, strong Wi-Fi signal, free breakfast and fresh Costa Rican coffee served all morning and afternoon long. My husband and I stayed in a private bedroom with bathroom for 3 nights. The bed was comfy and the shower was warm with great water pressure. All of this for less than $40 a night, it was an absolutely...

We found this hostel after the Cabinas del Pueblo did not honor our booking. The bed was the most comfortable we have slept in in 3 months of traveling. The staff were exceptionally helpful. We were even taken to see a local sloth baby after I complained we hadn't seen one! Now that's service. The cooking facilities were good. We...

I am a 13 year old boy and my family and I were in the 'new building'. It was nice, clean, had a private bathroom, a warm shower, and comfy beds. We had no issues and the taco shack, Taco y Taco was delicious. The staff were very good and they helped us book tours for Monteverde, and Selvatura. This...

Breakfast was included (could have been a bit more). Since it gcan get really cold in Monteverde ww had real blankets and nit just a sheet. We heard from several people...

The staff are what makes this hostel. Deigo checked us in and then provided a detailed introduction to the area and what outlined activities were possible. The staff will help book anything and do not pressure for certain tours etc. We had a double room with a nice stone bathroom. The room is pretty basic...could use more hooks or perhaps...

Right down town. Taco Taco restaurant on the side of the building draws all tourist staying in Santa Elena, so tasty. We stayed in a dungeon of a room with no windows and dirty walls down a dark hall way and shared a toilet will all people coming and going, and many do, Taco Taco folks, staff, anybody. The bathroom...

The guys working at the hostel were very friendly and helpful! And they help out to keep the busy kitchen nice and clean. Rooms are of mixed quality but I still think it's the best budget option in town.

Our 3-night stay changed into a 6-night, we couldn't leave the place. It's cosy, friendly, well-located. The staff is great, perfectly bilingual, and of course, they know about everything around. All kind of people in this place (families, backpackers, nature lovers - short and long stay), which makes it pretty interesting. Big thumbs up !
