We didn’t stay at the hotel but went to the Wine & Grill restaurant for lunch and OMG! We ordered the bruschetta = delicious. My husband ordered the the caprese = delicious. I ordered the salmon filled ravioli = delicious!! The server served each with the perfect wine pairing. Best lunch I can remember in forever.

This was such a wonderful stay! First of all the hotel is on a beautiful plot of land - the view of the mountains and sunset is unparalleled - it is simply breath taking. The rooms are so clean and comfortable. We stayed in a room with 2 beds. There were arm chairs by the windows to enjoy the scenery and there was a deck in front of the room as well. The bathroom was spacious and lovely. There is a restaurant on the property - the food is very good and Gustavo is wonderful. I really cannot say enough good things. Both Jose and Gustavo went above and beyond and really made the stay amazing. Jose recommended a local restaurant for dinner one night and I cannot say enough good things about it - Manolo's. I highly highly recommend this place - Jose has done a wonderful job with the property and really puts his heart and soul into his work. He is friendly, helpful and if you ask for recommendations he will spend the time and truly advise you in the best possible way. I highly recommend if anyone stays here, that you go to Manolo's, it's only a mile away and definitely get the ceviche and anything else off the menu, because it's all amazing. This was probably the most beautiful stay of my Costa Rica trip.

We stayed here for two nights in July and were extremely happy. Talked with the owner Jose for a while and he is a great guy with a great story about his hotel. He was extremely helpful when we ran into some transportation trouble. There are not many rooms, but they are stunning with an unbelievable view. The rooms look brand new, with beautiful wood work, smartly furnished, comfortable bed, modern bathroom, sitting area that provides a view of the valley. Unfortunately, the weather did not allow us to use it, but there is a fire pit that provides the same view. The hotel is outside of the town of St. Elena a bit, so you will need a car or to use a taxi service, the distance isn't far but there are not sidewalks for a stretch.

We stayed three nights in this gorgeous and intimate place. Astounding views, great service, food, ad rooms. The owner Jose was so welcoming and made us feel like part of the family. Everything is clean and very well kept. It was quiet and secluded but still close to Monte Verde and local attractions/rain forest. The sunset and stargazing were once in a lifetime. I will 100% stay there again!!! Jose sending so much love. —Amy

We stayed three nights in this beautiful place. Great room, great views, great service and great food in the restaurant. The owner was so accommodating and amiable. All the employees were warm and helpful. Everything looks brand new and very well manicured. While convenient to the town, out of the way enough to be quiet and private. Loved the sunset followed by the fire every evening. Would absolutely stay here again!
