Andres was wonderful to work with, thank you so much for your hospitality and your recommendations for zip lining and bungee jumping! This time in Monte Verde was the highlight of our stay in Costa Rica--thank you for making this possible. We felt very much at home with your friendliness, atmosphere and ability to use the kitchen. You have got...

Our Family of four including two teenagers stayed in a cabina for two nights and we tought it was a great experience for the price. The room was small but the outside space and the great breakfast room gave us room to spread out and we enjoyed meeting other travellers there. The staff was very nice and helpful and you...

We stayed here for a a few nights while exploring Monteverde - we weren't too impressed by the amenities but the staff were really friendly and helpful in arranging tours and suggesting things to see in town. (One of the highlights of our trip was a Night Jungle Tour that the B&B folks arranged for us the first night we...

Camino Verde provides basic accommodation, including everything you need to visit Monteverde. The B&B is provided with a living, a kitchen etc Coffee is for free. Breakfast is great. We had a room with a great panorama on the bay. Wifi is a bit slow From the hotel, they organize trips.

Wonderful guest house with friendly and helpful staff. Close enough to town to walk, but far enough away to be quiet. Jose is great, full of helpful information and can help arrange tours. The free breakfast is one of the best in Costa Rica. Would highly recommend Camino Verde for anyone staying in the area - great for family's and...

Great location! Close enough to walk down town, but far enough so that it is quiet. Delicious breakfast. Room and beds were pretty comfortable. I came to Monteverde with a group and because there were so many of us, some of us were lucky enough to be upgraded to a guest house. Jose was great to help us organize activities during the day and the breakfast we were served was great (not just toast and coffee like some hostels). There is a few different...

Jose greets you on the sidewalk when you arrive, and he or the staff help you with every little thing you need. The breakfasts are tasty, authentic Costa Rican, and super fresh fruit is served along with it. Guests are given access to the refrigerator and kitchen to cook their own lunches and dinners, which is a nice, homey touch....

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Camino Verde B&B is a "Bed and Breakfast" style lodging opened in 2009 and located on the edge of Santa Elena. The B&B is laid out in the style of a family house and guests are encouraged to treat it as their home. The building was in fact once the owner's family home which gave inspiration to this 'Tica House' designed hotel. The B&B is situated a 5 minute walk from the town centre of Santa Elena, but is far enough away for it to be quiet and have more rural surroundings. This is the perfect option for those who crave the quiet side of the countryside but who require the amenities provided in a town. FACILITIES: Camino Verde B&B comprises private rooms which sleep 2 to 4 guests. Four of the rooms have shared bathroom facilities and the rest are en suite. ... more   less
