This place is just so much more.... Great staff, that provides super help for novice adventurers like us. The hotel is perfectly located and very fresh. Great value for money. Breakfast that is included is better than most hotels. Again served with the neverending smiles you get from the people of the hotel. My best recommendations to all who want...

We stayed here for three nights. The view is amazing! The room was clean and had everything we needed, including a hair dryer! The property is beautiful! There is a giant deck that has a gorgeous view of the forest. The deck has tables, chairs and a fireplace, making it a wonderful place to hang out with friends or relax...

We were so busy zip lining and watching the wildlife in the parks, we were rarely in the accommodation. Room was basic with not much storage space, bathroom perfectly adequate with a good shower, all clean and comfortable. It is very windy in this area so you might need earplugs at night!! Staff very helpful and booked all excursions for...

Our first room had scaffolding erected outside, the wind blows very strongly here and whistled through it keeping us awake. Next day the staff changed us without fuss. Very helpful with booking tours etc. Rooms were basic but clean with good showers. A good choice for those willing to pay a few dollars extra.

I would stay here again and again. We stayed in a three person room with one queen and one twin which was perfect for my husband and brother-in-law and myself. The amenities were nice and the bed was comfy. Very clean, hot showers, great wifi and even better staff. The 5 breakfast options were prepared hot and were delicious every...

Welcoming helpful service upon checkin. Stayed one night in deluxe double. Small tight room and bathroom, reasonably clean - although didn't like seeing multiple long hairs in our bedsheets (were they changed!?). The room didn't have a window that goes to the outside, which may help keep it quieter from the blowing wind & rain outside but it felt quite...

The first decision here is whether to review this as a B&B or as a hostel. We booked it as a B&B, a category in which it falls short. As a hostel, it would likely fare better. We booked a “superior” room, which was the best category we could find. It had a private bath but was tiny, cramped, and...

Just a 3 minute walk to town core. Clean comfy room at an affordable price and nice free breakfast. Was worried at first with their being no fan or air conditioning but you're situated high up on top of a valley that catches a lot of wind so the room didn't get to warm. Only gripe would be that it...

The place is clean and friendly and has a great view. Our basement private room was stuffy, but with the provided fan I was quite comfortable. Shared bathroom facilities were more than adequate. Great view from the patio. Very helpful front desk staff. Saved our night when our night tour did not pick us up- within five minutes they had...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Camino Verde B&B is a "Bed and Breakfast" style lodging opened in 2009 and located on the edge of Santa Elena. The B&B is laid out in the style of a family house and guests are encouraged to treat it as their home. The building was in fact once the owner's family home which gave inspiration to this 'Tica House' designed hotel. The B&B is situated a 5 minute walk from the town centre of Santa Elena, but is far enough away for it to be quiet and have more rural surroundings. This is the perfect option for those who crave the quiet side of the countryside but who require the amenities provided in a town. FACILITIES: Camino Verde B&B comprises private rooms which sleep 2 to 4 guests. Four of the rooms have shared bathroom facilities and the rest are en suite. ... more   less
