This place is great! The people are so kind and helpful, free breakfast is simple but good, and the accommodations are lovely. The patio area has a beautiful view for relaxing and enjoying your surroundings. Highly recommend!
Camino Verde is very sweet! We were greeted very warmly and professionally by Diego at the front desk. As we planned our cloud forest walk, zipline and night hike we realized we needed a second night. We found out about the Private Apartment with private parking, and booked it for 2 nights. The octagonal wood crafted bungalo was state of the art cool and made us feel pampered. The additional charge was nominal and we were super comfy. There is something about the local rainforest cedar ceiling that overwhelms the senses in a very understated way. We slept like babies. There is a wonderful wood mill and shop across the street and you can poke your head in to see where all the amazing woodwork is done. I was blown away by the regions woodwork. As a lifelong american craftsman I can tell you the tradition in these mountains is deep and holistic. FYI the wind whips here and the rain comes in strong so there is a cute little efficient wood burning stove in your bedroom! Bathroom is absolutely terrific. The body wash and hair products are local and also super pure. My wife is a stickler and found these better than the stuff at most any other hotel. The morning food is terrific and is included. A personal chef attends to your order which includes plantains and fresh fruit. Coffee was also on point. Cant say enough. Santa Elena is a charming town and the jungle here is... how can I say? Pura Vida!…
Great place to stay with extremely friendly staff and clean rooms. Great location too, very close to shops and centre. Jeaustin and Diego who work there were so helpful and knowledgeable about how best to use our time in Costa Rica. I would highly recommend staying here! Thank you to the team 🙌
Jeaustin and the team were excellent from start to finish with organising our booking, transfers and activities. Everything worked like clockwork. Located close to the main town centre, but quiet in and around the hotel. The breakfasts were excellent and the papaya jam is homemade and delicious.
Best place in Monteverde !!! Well located. People are really kind and ready to help organize your activities. They gave us really good advices (restaurant, tour, place to see,…) I strongly recommend!!
We had a pleasant and warm welcome. We were very surprised when we entered our room and found a little gift! They helped is really well with the local information. Everything was very clean and we could drink free coffee and tea, they even made us popcorn. The room was very nice and we enjoyed a good breakfast. We would definitly go back here when we are in Monteverde again.
Camino Verde B&B was an excellent place to stay. Jeaustin at the front desk was very informative and helpful with guiding us on excursions and places to eat. The location was a short walk to town and right next to a small mini market. A short walk down the street was a grocery store. The quiet hours were at 9 pm and everyone followed the rules. Most people were up early heading off to excursions but did so without much noise. The breakfast was very good and between 12-9 you could use the well stocked kitchen for personal use. All of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice and clean. Parking was easy and right across the street from the hotel.
Great location close to town (restaurants, cafes, supermarket, ATM all within 5 min walking distance). The view from the terrace just stunning. The room was clean, cosy and comfortable (with AC) and we really enjoyed the communal areas to relax in the evening. Breakfast was also good with several options available to choose from. We also used the same day laundry service offered ($9) which was great. Overall would definitely recommend.
The Camino verde was fantastic from the moment we arrived Diego and Justin couldn’t do enough for us They booked local tours and even a restaurant reservation in their family restaurant Tico y Rico which was superb The room was great with a welcome hot shower and the breakfast was delicious Thanks again for a really great stay We will recommend them to anyone Emma and Jonah Holmes
This B&B was a great choice for my friend and I. It’s a convenient 5 minute walk to downtown Monteverde. The room was clean and comfortable. A highlight is their lovely deck with a nice scenic view. The staff was incredibly helpful in booking us on a few excursions and providing recommendations. The made to order breakfast (included in your stay) was also really nice. I would highly recommend a stay here!
