Our room was a wooden cabin and so very noisy when it was windy and you could hear people in the rooms next door. One night I genuinely feared the roof would blow off. However I think most hostels in his town were wooden and so may also be noisy. The room was fine and had clean bedding and was...

We have been travelling through Central America for 4 weeks and this is the WORST hotel we have stayed in by far. We are avid travellers and been all over the world. Stayed here based on Lonely Planet review despite 2/5 rating on tripadvisor. Boy did Lonely Planet get it wrong this time !!! Checked in 1st night and was...

I am all for rustic accommodations. I frequently stay in a cabana on the beach in Tulum MX with no electrical outlets. However, this is a bit too rustic for me. Many rooms do not have windows to the outside, but instead face into a hallway. If someone sneezes three rooms away, you can hear it. Also, since many of...

Pro's: - Nice breakfast with different options - Good location in the centre of town - Friendly staff - Room itself was nice and clean. - Hot water worked well Cons: - Noisy - the rooms are surrounded by wooden floors that are ridiculously loud when people walk. - our room had a window facing a walkway with a bright...

I have to admit we did not stay her. We were at the Poco a Poco which is quite a bit more upscale and more expensive but we ate at the restaurant 3 times (lunch and dinner) because it was so good. Great personal service, excellent cooking, very good prices and we could bring our own wine which we did...

Comfortable hotel, low price with EXCELLENT tenants. They will help you to build your trip, make phone calls ( even to make a reservation to another hotel for the next day). They were very patient us when we were trying to speak spanish and would not switch to english automatically. They were always there when we needed something. Felt like...

We stayed in a 2-bedroom room for 2 nights in Monteverde/Santa Elena. The rooms were very big, nice batchroom, clean. The only bad thing is that you can hear basically everything moving on the wooden floors outside of the room. It´s very central, walking distance to everything you need. Staff is very helpful and friendly and the restaurant is also...

This hotel is not very good, and I would also say bad value for money! With a double insuite bedroom for 40 USD, you get a big room that fits 3, but when it's windy the whole wooden room moves and makes a terrible noise (same when people just wlak next to the room, TV does not work properly, and...

We stayed a couple of nights here. It was walkable to the center of town, high up so great views. The outside space is very arty and classy and the inside was also tasteful. The price was also excellent. The staff was incredibly attendant for such an inexpensive place. We would definitely come back!
