What is not to like about a place that masterfully brings beach, jungle, great food and great services together?

This is one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. The resort itself is just beautiful, the grounds are immaculately manicured and taken care of, and the room is gorgeous. It is a picture postcard perfect place. The air conditioner in the room...More
When considering staying at the Clandestino, you really do need to rent a car if you ever want to leave the property. It is a 20 minute drive to ANYTHING else, and even farther if you are heading in to Jaco or Manuel Antonio. With...More

So for the things on the menu that are not expensive they are reasonable they did have items on the menu that were considerably more expensive (lobster, for example, I believe it was around $25-$30 US dollars). But on average our lunch daytime snacks, dinner with Dessert ran between 40,000 colones and 55,000 colones for myself, my husband and my six-year-old/day. He and I split a lot of meals. Which is not unusual for us....
No nightlife like a band or DJ. The bar is open until, I think around nine or 10 in the evening. The nightlife would be your self people to work in the bar and the other guests. Hope that helps!
