The service at redchilli was terrible, lack of flexibility, poor customer service, terrible treatment of local Ugandans including children, despicable, i guess for the cost, that is what locals should expect, really unfortunate that its the only low cost accommodation in the area, the tents were nice though, generally i was appalled by the whole experience.

I stayed here as part of a stay in Murchison organised by Red Chilli. The camp offers tents and bandas and the comfort level is quite acceptable for a couple of nights in the National Park. Murchison is unforgettable and I can't recommend it highly enough. The camp has a nice bar/restaurant with views of the Nile. Watching the sun...

For the adventure seeker who wants to spend a night close to nature under the open African sky you may choose to use the tent or a Banda. Dont venture too far out at night without light or you stumble upon a hippo or a warthog. A boat ride at 2.00pm is a must taking you to the bottom of...

The Red Chilli is minutes from the ferry across the Nile to the game drives in the Murchison National Park. I stayed in a Banda and loved it, but you should go into this place with the right attitude. It's more like a camping trip than a luxury experience - but it is a great experience! Wart hogs and baboons...

This comfortable site has a great, convenient location - just five minutes away from the ferry that takes you across the Nile to game drives. Facilities are clean, well priced and well-cared for, and they offer cheap western and local meals. Service was fine, depending on which staff member I talked to; some were extremely kind and helpful, while others...

with great views on the nile, and hippo's roaming about, red chilli restcamp is a great place to stay. banda's looked very nice though I stayed in my tent. good facitlties. really excellent food and not expensive. Be prepared to awake early in the morning though as people leave at 7 to catch the ferry.

For our party of 6, things went very well. Food was great, service was friendly and helpful, ambiance was quite nice. Accommodations were comfortable as well. Sam, the manager, was exceptionally helpful and gracious as our host. Our game drive vehicle was outstanding, it is Red Chili's own "giraffe" vehicle. Highly recommended. My only complaint was that when our driver...

Dear omuzungu So glad you enjoyed your stay at our camp - I will make sure I pass on your compliments to Sam! I will also pass on your feedback regarding your game drive...it's sometimes difficult to gauge exactly how long is right to spend with each magnificent creature we encounter and I am sorry if you felt you missed...

It's been 7 years since I visited this beautiful place and I find myself reminiscing about the whole experience often! I was doing a safari excursion with a group of 8 others and a couple nights stay here was a part of the package. If you have the opportunity visit and camp! We stayed up around a fire and enjoyed...

We had 2 great nights together with my clients during our trip to Murchison falls National park. We enjoyed the bandas that are surrounded by tropical woodland, cool and quiet camping ground enriched by the natural sound of singing birds that woke us up! The support staff surpassed our expectation as they were very effective and hospitable. I truly recommend...

A very pleasant spot close to the river crossing with good accommodation and great food. Make sure you are hungry (the portions are large) and get in early for the specials before they run out. The dining area was very relaxing with a great fire at night and the hippo chewing the grass just outside our door was a bonus
