Lovely lodge just over the Nile, the right side for game safaris. Large, comfortable rooms. Service in restaurant very slow, so leave plenty of time. We traveled with Churchill safaris, who were an excellent company. Lovely pool at the lodge.

We were greeted at checkin with cold, wet cloths to wipe away the heat and dirt. This was followed by fresh mango juice. What a wonderful welcome! The lodge is over 50 years old but well maintained. The rooms are air conditioned but ours wasn't on, which left us sweltering for an hour before it was cool. Unfortunately, the dining...

I stayed in above lodge on 4th & 5th feb'2015. The lodge is in the murchison safari park on the bank of river Victoria Nile. All rooms have balcony towards river. The multi cuisine restaurant and bar is very good. The Indian chef has provided us Indian food. Swimming pool was very clean. They have boating services in nile river...

I with my wife and my friend with his wife went for Lunch last Saturday at this place, it has a nice view but the portion for lunch is too bad. We paid the buffet price and the soup was half a cup, even after telling that this is a wrong portion, no one bothered. Rest was some how ok....

I am writing in response to the review entitled “Too Bad”. We analyse any issues of dissatisfaction with our food seriously as this gives us a good understanding of areas that need improvement and this review raises a few points. Firstly we did not have a buffet on Saturday the 7th March, it was a set menu. The guests ordered...

This place was definitely the best out of all our places that we stayed at. Wished we could have stayed longer. Will definitely go back the next time i am in UG. Had great opportunity to see the wildlife. Excellent food as well, staff all helpful. Lots of bats which was fun too :)

While planning my trip, I read many reviews of this lodge. I was almost afraid to stay here, but was very pleasantly surprised. I finally chose Paraa because it seemed that although other lodges were more in tune with nature, they would not have adequate amenities, and there would be additional travel time to reach cruises and safaris. I was...

We spent four nights here. The warmest welcome from the General Manager and staff. And such a nice touch that from the start the staff remember your name. You felt very 'at home' here! Beautifully run, the rooms are clean, and you can see the pride the staff have for this hotel, and even the open areas are clean and...

What an exciting find! A lovely old colonial style hotel where staff address you by name, you have keys rather than the dreaded non-functional swipe cards and the food is good even by European standards. Mosquito nets are clean, appear to be made of silk, rooms are full of lovely pieces of furniture and there is a rather lovely pool....
