Fantastic staff, facilities and location with great value. We stayed here to unwind after a busy schedule. Perfect relaxed atmosphere for this. Dinners were delicious, varied and very good value. Friendly staff organised beautiful snorkelling trip to sandbar island. Overall, it's charm lies in its rustic, comfortable demeanour. Coconut family bungalow a good size for for 4, less than a... I loved my room and how the hotel is set up. Breakfast was the one I was looking forward to every day, had half board and dinner was ok but too much spice resp. salt. There was no power as I arrived as well as for several hours one afternoon/evening and pipe water was salty and smelled, electric plug was... More

We stayed here for 1 night camping. To begin with we were charged $7 per person, so 2 people sharing the same small tent was $14. Which is more expensive than most guest houses and hotel we stayed in in Tanzania. The camping spots were literally patches of sand, no covers and no power points/ lights. The shower and tap... The good news came immediately upon arrival: "Unfortunately, our beach huts were double-booked, so we decided to upgrade you." Rest assured, our time in the beautiful and cosy bungalows was a one of a kind. We saw 99 little turtles hatching on the beach and struggling their way into the water, snorkeled off on Meziwa Island and marveled at the... More

We were camping when I asked the manager if it was safe to leave our stuff she (a Swiss woman) told me 'It is a public place, I cannot guarantee your stuff will not be stolen.' Security is the least you can offer when you charge $7 for a spot in the sand. The manager (a Swiss woman) was terribly... More

Resort is nice, clean and we always felt save there. The huts are simple, we had a one without ac and with shared bathroom. This was okay, the hut was big enough and close to beach. Bathroom was clean, always toiletpaper, not always soap or just soap mixed with water, but also this was okay. A big thing is that... More

Nice accomodation with well situated bandas, cottages designed with all local available wood and thatches, room design allows proper wind circulation, fan or AC not necessary. Food was not well prepared to suit our taste for the first night. After we communicated our taste of food, the hosts ensured they provided us with prepared especially for us.. The hosts Sonja... We are a family of three and spent three enjoyable nights at Beach Crab Resort in the coconut bungalows. The beach was lovely, the meals very good, the managers friendly and responsive. We enjoyed hanging out on the elevated sitting area (we dubbed it the tower) with a great breeze and view of the beach. We enjoyed the foosball, pool... More
