I always wanted to stay on a Riad but i most admit that not everyone might like it. i googled the information for the ones that don't know what it is. "The term 'riad' means garden but it is applied to town houses built round a central courtyard. Technically it should have some plants in four planting beds and a... More

On our drive back to Casablanca, we didn't really want to stay in Al Jadida or Casablanca, the former for lack of options and the latter for being underwhelming and pricey. In between these two stops was Azzemour, in which Riad7 was situated. A modern, novel approach on the Riad, with greys and whites and blacks on the walls, flavouring... More

We stayed in the Riad for 9 nights making trips from Azemmour by trains and buses. Azemmour is a great place to be used as a base, small and welcoming, very safe even after dark. People in Medina are very friendly and welcoming. From the Riad, it takes about 2 km to get to the beautiful beach; non-Muslim women can... More

We had one night at Riad 7 in June 2013. It is a cool modern Riad. Simple, with modern take, with concrete floors, black wood and art on all the walls. The owner is nice but does not speak much english. We had dinner. It was nice! The owner did not have many suggestions for what to do in the... More

Riad 7 was the last stop of a two-week circuit in Morocco. It was also the seventh riad we stayed at. We were greeted by Jean Jacques, owner and Rashida, manager. Guests will be enchanted by this riad, lovingly restored and filled with contemporary art and clean design. Meals are slow-cooked and delicious. The staff is very friendly and professional.... More

I stayed one night in Riad 7. It is a traditional dar more than a riad as the central courtyard is relatively small. The renovation of the building has been done very sympathetically maintaining many of the original features. The interior decor is contemporary and neutral offset with some zany artistic twists. The rooms are long and narrow as one... More

I liked Azzemour as we traveled a lot and had a car to have diner somewhere else. The location of the riad is nice at the river, the village is typical Maroccan which I liked. The rooms are very small, the shower is horrible, refurbishing is very simple and cheap. The owner is Suisse but does not speak a word... More
