I was not made to feel welcome as an English speaking person therefore I will not return. The Suites are amazing, facilities are great, if you are wanting to be entertained you will find it, food was average with very little variety and for a resort of this size I would have expected more than just one restaurant.

Our family just spent a fantastic week in Club Med Pointe aux Canonniers. The resort is amazing, and all inclusive. The accomodations are great, the food and drinks are amazing, the shows, decorations, parties are signatures to Club Med, and many sports are included too. We particularly appreciated - the waterski and wakeboard team : many thanks to Ronnie, Anouchka, Steven and the rest of the team for your explonations and patience. From a total beginner, I now feel confident on both skis and wakeboard, in only one week! - the fitness instructor who helped us streching every night. She made us feel so peaceful! - and last but not least, the saling team. Here again, from total beginner to sailing alone on a catamaran in one week. Thank you Rayan, David, Jean-Marie. Kiki even led an expedition of 8 catamarans outside the lagoon and we were extremely lucky to see a whale. Vincenzo, the 'chef du village' is doing an amizing job, making sure everybody can enjoy his vacation to the max. Thank you again for this great week!

INCREDIBLE AS ALWAYS!!!! Well it was our 6th visit to this specific Club Med and there's a reason why we keep coming back. It just feels like home! FAMILY VIBES: If you are a family and in doubt where to go in Mauritius-you are reading the right review. The resort was renovated about 5 years ago and is in great condition. This MU Club Med La Cannoniers ( yes there's 2 so dont confuse the 2). Is on the best part of the island (North) and has the best beach. Large, soft white sand and beautiful swimming with very little wind. As a family we enjoy this Club Med as kids are entertained all day! And our kids don't do kids club- that's correct- they do not do kids club as they enjoy the freedom of jumping from one activity to the next and hanging with the family. Just some background we were 2 couples in our 40's with 2 kids each and mom in -law! (Kids ages are 13yr, 10yr, 7yr & 5yr) of which 2 eldest are mine. As mentioned we have been coming for years. we were there now in Oct 2023 and last year March 2022 and then the years prior to Covid. We just love the place. DURATION: This past stay was 2 weeks long. Some find that too long but I can tell you that everyone that booked a week said it was too short. 10 days should be your minimum if you want to reap the benefits of this resort! AVERGAE DAY: Our average day starts with a snorkel or a dive, - late breakfast on the beach- table tennis - beach swim & hang out - soccer match - Lunch - sail - wakeboard. All the while I'm on the beach catching a tan and having a cocktail.( the far end of the resort is the Zen pool which is adults only and a quieter beach if your after that. The in the evening we love sundowners on the beach and a last ski of the day. The kids started to enjoy the tennis in the evenings too. ROOMS: Superior - interleading- sea facing. Rooms were spacious and incredibly clean. We hardy spent timeon our rooms as loved being outside. WATERSPORTS: Were big wakeboarders and water skiers. This Club Med has a great water sport offering. Tishi who manages the Waterski Club is incredible as has always been throughout the years. He has a strong team and we are always so thankful for their superb service and treatment of our youngest Daniel (10yrs old). Whom could spend the day on the jetty skiing if he could. I would highly recommend going on the snorkeling trip in the mornings. Remember to put your name down on the list the day before at 4pm. Sailing is just beautiful, and a great thing to do as a couple. Kyle at the Sailing Club was incredibly helpful and really assisted us throughout our stay with the sailing & in the Regatta. He was also great company at dinner! Do note that all Snorkelling and watersports are included! If you dive your in for a treat. We always dive under the care and guidance of James at the Dive Centre. Many members of my family have done their resort course or Open Water 1 with James and his team. There is no better place to dive! Visibility is incredible and the sea life 5*!!!!! This Dive Centre is independently owned and is not included. STAFF: The Chief of the Village, Olivier was World Class. True gentleman, always on site managing staff and guest beautifully. He assisted our family with some of our queries and was very accommodating. -Ramon the second in charge is a Star! Also such a gentleman, amazing team leader, he was everywhere always giving 1000%. Thank you to both these men for making our holiday fantastic. -Then to Margaux - head of sports it was lovely to meet you and we all want to thank you for your assistance throughout our stay. Then there's a couple more plp we need to mention: Nassau - Dinning Hall manager - always puts a smile on our faces, made sure we had a super table every evening as we are a big group and takes such good care of us and our kids. Thank you Nassau for everything throughout the years. Nash & Sebastion: The Alma Bar and Dining- Again weve known each other for a long time and appreciate all you do for our family on our stays. You have a awesome team on the beach. Job well done! Fred & David - Beach Bar & Main Bar- we saw alot of each other as the Beers & Bloody Marys were superb. Thanks Fred as always for your 5* service. We have returned to Cape Town happy and rested. And have already booked for next year September!

We decided very last moment (1 day ahead) to leave as a family of 4. However, everything was perfectly organized, from transfer from the airport to check-in etc. We had a fantastic holiday, where we were able to have time as a couple as well as as a family. There is no need to chose at club med: you can combine both. We appreciated a lot the availability and attention of the GO’s, kids were excited every day to be able to go to the mini club, we enjoyed the introduction to sailing, paddle, waterski,… and food options are great with a lot of healthy options and options to have special diner at the sea side. The absolute plus for families is the availability of a French pediatrician on site twice a day. My daughter started to have a high fever and the team took care of everything from getting the doctor to the medicines: 24h service and no need to leave the resort. You can feel in everything the team is dedicated to give you the best holiday. Thanks to the the compete team!

The staff is incredible and Ian and Lisa are literally the best GO I ever met. They are so friendly, kind, funny and interesting ! Moreover, I had an amazing experience, the rooms are pretty nice ; the buffet is really varied and delicious ; the activities are quite fun too even if the ones on the evening like the disco could be better. I had an amazing stay and will return next year for the third time !

Family Party of 18 ranging from 2+ to 70 - everyone had an absolute ball totally amazing with so much to do, in a such a beautiful environment and staff were totally amazing GO team were always on hand and the food was out of this world great value for money

Dear Clubmed, Thank you ! Let me start with writing things that went well. *** You Helped with an early check*** **** Janice house keeping staff kept the room tidy for days she came*** ****Manish as a Chef kind, polite and professional*** Let me start that my expectation with Clubmed was quite high and to be true I am disappointed. To begin with the room given was not that bad but the only room 2150 which was without a balcony, any specific reason that I am missing not sure? The bathroom had mosquito webs which I noticed on the day of check out because the lighting is too dim you wont notice otherwise. Till the time room was being cleaned by Janice it was well done, last 2 days the bed was made, but the waste was left as it is. In terms of the kids club I do understand that majority of your customers are French, but there are English speakers as well. In your kids club the staff only spoke French, thankfully she found a friend who did the transalations. I am a veg by choice and requested the staff to keep some authentic dishes to which first 2 meals were good and then that spirit went away. Rice was hard like it is being repeated until the stock is finished which eventually caused me and my wife upset stomach. Your buffet is meant only for French market --- Your WiFi went off on Monday 16th October, there was no intimation, no apologies. What I cannot believe is that your clubmed does not have a LAN connected desk where I could use internet. So, do I understand that for those 24 hours or more you had an absolute shutdown of all related services. I doubt. I kept telling your staff I have to do my online check in and book a hotel but they had no interest to help or offer a solution (data sharing is the least). On the day of check out -GM Oliver- offered to help when I come later. Wow guys, thanks I ended up paying a double price on the hotel in Dubai. I am extremely disappointed and must say that my choice for booking for Clubmed has changed and at least will never recommend it to anyone else apart from French guests.

However, we are deeply sorry to hear that you also encountered issues and that your overall experience did not meet your high expectations. We understand your disappointment with the room you received, especially the lack of a balcony. We apologize if this room assignment did not meet your expectations. The cleanliness issues you mentioned in the bathroom and the inconsistent room cleaning service are also legitimate concerns, and we will work to improve the quality of our service in this area. Regarding the Mini-Club, we regret that the staff was unable to meet your language needs. We recognize that our GMs come from all over the world, and we should ensure that our staff can communicate effectively in multiple languages ​​to ensure a pleasant experience for all of our guests. I spent 1 week in this beautiful spot. I met very nice people, enjoyed waterskiing, aquagym, snorkeling, kayaking and tanning at thé beach. Thé spot is georgeous. White sandy beach, cristal clear water, beautiful sunsets. Olivier thé manager of thé Club does all for feeling you welcome.Special thanks for thé White night around thé pool. Thé 2 restaurants are spoiling you with delicious food. Local cooking curries, fish like continental food Everything was perfect. Thé service is great. Every night thé GO team does à show for entertainment and after that you can dance until early morning Spécial thanks to Coco, thé GO for snorkeling, kayaking and aquagym. Also thanks to Darwin for supporting me in waterskiing. Tony for thé groupwalk to Troue au beach and for aquagym and of course thanks to all the GO team and personnel, for being always nice and welcome. See you soon :)

This is our 5th family trip to Pointe Aux Canonniers and it just gets better everytime. From the welcoming arrival committee to the waves off on departure the staff go out of their way to make sure every person of every age is having the best time all the time. We love to waterski and Trishy, Mazut, Jerry, Darwin, Ronnie, Sebastian were absolutely amazing teaching and entertaining us. Fred at the beach bar finished the days of in style for us with delicious sunset cocktails and a giant smile whilst the teens played volleyball with Toni and Byron. Every day ended in happy exhaustion that makes us want to go online and book again before we have even arrived home. Thank you to everyone at the resort...you are our happy holiday place.

There’s an evident lack of training when it comes to hospitality. The vast majority of the staff is rude and unfriendly, sometimes even with unprofessional approach to guests and not accommodating at all. With rare exceptions such as Urvana (main restaurant), Olivier and Romain (GO’s) who have been nothing but friendly and courteous from day 1, all other interactions we had with the staff were shockingly bad. Not to mention the terrible experience of having something stolen from us, a situation that couldn’t have been handled in a worse way by management who told us “we have other priorities to deal with so feel free to call the police yourselves” - what we did and not to our surprise, the watch was returned in the last day of our stay. A complete train wreck from the moment we checked in, so I can tell for sure I’ll never be back to any Club Med ever again and I’ll let people know about our terrible experience in every single opportunity I have. If you want to be mistreated by staff during your holidays, that’s the place for you. We even got yelled at by this guy from water sports after my husband was left in the middle of the water and had to swim all the way back to the pier. This guy shouted at him saying he couldn’t leave his jacket there, go figure the levels of arrogance of these people. This other guy from reception laughed at me when I asked if there was an outlet somewhere I could charge my phone while working with it and he said there wasn’t any in the common areas and that I should do it in my room. So many other disastrous interactions happened during our stay that there were times we felt like in a surreal place. Definitely they have never heard of hospitality.
