The hotel is very beautiful and look fresh after the renovation. As we were five we opted for the family duplex which was very spacious for five people. The food was excellent and there was many great choices. Hotel's Favourite
Today is our last day:Fantastic 15 day stay with amazing experiences. ALL the staff are welcoming and so accommodating, we stayed all inclusive which allowed the kids to order their own soft drinks and made the holiday so much easier. Special shout it to Heero our room attendant, he was so attentive and made the best towel animals. Jayshree the fantastic receptionist who is accommodating our needs on our last day to give us as much free time on the beach and enjoy the hotel as much as possible. Adil one of the catering staff, so happy all the time, he made us smile and Ramoush one of the sports team staff, his jokes kept us laughing. We stayed in a family duplex room, which was perfect for our family, the kids slept upstairs and we slept downstairs, the stairs are steep in the room, they only need a little bit of care when being used. The TV’s have a USB slot, so you can bring a USB stick with movies on it to keep the kids quiet whilst your getting ready for dinner The restaurant Buffett has a very good selection of food and rotation, after 15 days we haven’t been board and the selection has always been different. Pancakes at the Navigator, if you hold out your hand with some crumbs of the muffin, the birds will feed from your hand. Clean beach towels can be picked up every morning and dropped back at the end of the day. In the photos we were a bit unsure about the beach due to the amount of rocks showing. However this has proved to be a highlight. The hotel has 3 beach sides to it. Plenty of mix between rocks and just perfect sandy areas. The Rocks have kept our children amazed the whole time, they have rockpooled and found all sorts of creatures every day, the rocks also provide a safe home for the local fish, we have snorkelled every day and found all sorts from the finding nemo movies. It has kept the beach days of the holiday interesting. There is also a little island you can snorkel too and explore. Bring good water shoes on holiday with you. The hotel and grounds are very well kept, beautifully kept with a large team of groundsmen/women We hired a car for a number of days and went exploring, we were lucky enough to climb through the tamarin rainforest to the cascading waterfalls. We swam with dolphins, watched a humpback whale, swam with a turtle, (all in the wild and natural habitat of the sea), had a BBQ on an small island, we spent time with giant tortoises. We went to the market and bargained. Overall a fantastic and beautiful holiday. A hotel and location we would recommend and come again to. 15 day stay with amazing experiences. We stay for 2 nights. Our stay started with a warm welcome from Jashree. The family duplex was confortable and Nice.. All the staff are friendly and professionnal,its difficult to remember all the names but among others Kooshal at the bar, Nishta and Eva at the restaurant..everybody was so helpful.. but what impress us most was the variety of tasteful dishes..the food is excellent... bravo to the chef. We also enjoyed the dancers on Friday night show and the band on saturday was excellent.. the hôtel is worth à five stars.. thank you for this wonderful stay

The layout of the resort is fantastic. You can move to different parts of the beach in accordance with the wind direction. The rooms are spacious. The activities are plentiful and varied. Well balanced shows every night. Aravid kept our room tidy all week!

We asked our agent, whom we have used for a few years, to find us somewhere that was relaxing, by the sea and half board and she found us this. My wife and i are so relaxed, we have been treated well and felt as special as everyone should. The whole team supporting this place are exemplary and clear on what they want to deliver-excellence! Whilst there are too many to call out there is one, whom if you are lucky enough to have him care for your room, leaves a wonderful bed decoration which brings a huge smile on your face when you return to your room, his name is Riyaad, if you read this, thanks. Beautiful location, excellent customer service, felt very relaxed and friendly. We had wonderful interactions with the team that really made our holiday. Thank you to Satyam for cleaning our family room (703) and providing an array of amazing towelled animals everyday, to Angela, Ishika and Rohan for the fantastic table service each morning, lunch and dinner and to Emelie who welcomed us on our first day. Swimming in the warm shallow waters and playing in the sand with our little boy was the highlight of the holiday. We don’t usually stay in all inclusive hotels but we had such an amazing experience (food, evening entertainment, customer service) we would highly recommend and be back soon!

Nice experience at beachcomber Canonnier. The food at the buffet was very good. The beach is very rocky and you must be careful with your feet. We had a massage at the spa and has honeymooners the hotel kindly offered us a romantic experience at our choice. We decided to go on a full day boat trip and it was one of the best experiences we had in Mauritius. The Sunkiss company took us to Gabriel and Flat Islands and it is an absolute paradise. We totally recommend.

The hotel was good but the front office staff of handling payments was horrible. I had an early flight so i cleared all payment the previous night. I went all the way to the reception which like more than half a mile from my suite at 10.30pm and settled the bill and got a zero balance too as i had to leave teh next day early. The next day on 25th nov 2023 wen i went to drop the keys. The recepetionst by the name shruti( whose behaviour was horrible) said their around 27000 rs to be paid. I said why dint u give the bill yesterday and why did u issue a zero balance. She told she doesnt know anything it is showing 26000 for a room nite which i already paid earlier and i showed the receipt and the earlier zero balance receipt. She is not even relling what the amt was for and delayed it for 20 mins and it was a nusience and i dint have time to see all receipts as i will miss my flight. I feel she simply charged more and as i dint have time i paid.. but just a sorry wont do here.pls take action on her and also pls check if i was double charged... horrible attshruti. If there was balance why dint they tell me yesterday when i came and settled everything and got a zero balance and again while leaving charged whr i dint have time to check also. I am attaching the zero balance that they gave 1st and 2nd and also the amt i paid for the extra night…

Spent a wonderful honeymoon here! Hospitality is top class. Everybody is helpful and smiling all the time. 3 restaurants from which one has the full variety of multi-traditional couisines every day. Bar is open all day long with multiple choices, auch as local coctails and spirits. Next to it, in the amphiteatrum style corner, there are live music and different shows every night, to keep you entertained. Beautiful white sand beaches and a very clean tropical vibe inside garden. Activities held by the resort are high quality, such as full day boat trip to several islands with full service all along. Also the spa is unbeliveably relaxing and pleasant experience you should try. Since it is on a small peninsula, sunrise and sunset are both visible and amazing sights. Perfect place to rest and enjoy the paradise, also suits you if you would try different sports, activities to spend your time busy. Would difinitely recommend it! …

Nothing bad you can say about this place. The hotel and grounds were in very well kept clean condition. Emilie, Morgan, Avrelle and Goshini always helped with any queries we had We had a standard sea facing room, it was not huge but big enough and very clean. I had requested a ground floor room due to a bad knee, the hotel provided one and it was only a minutes walk from everything. Buffet restaurant and the a la cartes were fantastic, couldn't fault the food in any of them, Jenny in the buffet always had a smile and looked after us well. The cocktail bar was incredible, service by Yaadarsh, Varun and Sepaul was fantastic. The beach was incredible, cleaned and tidied every morning, plenty of beds. Didn't use the pool as the beach was so nice, but it looked very nice and clean with plenty of beds. All of the staff were friendly and happy. Would certainly consider this hotel again if we ever return to Mauritius.…
