I can not describe how wonderful our stay has been but I will try my best! Me, my partner and my dog booked a holiday to strathcarron and we decided to extend our holiday as a last minute decision and decided to go to the cairngorm national park. With it being the easter bank holiday weekend and also having our...

Wonderful guest house in beautiful wild Scotland . The rooms are spacious , beautifully furnished and equipped with everything you are likely to require . The location is stunning yet not too far from local amenities .John and Irene are so much more than the owners of this wonderful gem , they really are the hosts with the most. We...

We stayed again for the end of term party. Once again the stay was faultless, the room was clean and the facilities fantastic. Our room had been done up since the previous stay which helped it feel fresh to us. The rooms are spacious and the views from the windows are fantastic. The breakfasts are excellent and Irene's cooking is...

Mr D - that sounds like someone in the A Team or Pulp Foction, doesn't it? I am sorry that it has taken me a while to respond to your very kind review but our trip to New Zealand, combined with me breaking a leg, has rather messed about with the office work!! So sorry. It was, as ever, a...

John and Irene could not have done more to help us make the most of our overnight stay on the way up to the Hebrides. We arrived in time for a short hill walk in the afternoon and they were able to advise us on a route as well as helping us to make plans for dinner afterwards. We had...

Ajb, There you go. You've quite made my afternoon by posting your delightful review here on Trip Advisor. Thank you, that is very kind. We are, of course, well pleased that you enjoyed your all-too-brief stay with us on your way up-north, it was just a shame that you couldn't have stayed a bit longer as we enjoyed your company...

Great hotel, warm and comfortable in a beautiful location. Both John and Irene are lovely, a fabulous warm welcome and so accommodating to my dietary preference. They are commendable for the work they do for Maggie's Charity.

Jax, Irene and I are both delighted that you've seen fit to pop a review on here, thank you. It is not often that I am described as "lovely", though I do appreciate your choice of words, Irene of course, is referred to in such terms much more often. We nejoyed your brief stay with us last weekend and hope...

I enjoy returning here because the standard remains high and I am the sort of person who would just instantly choose an alternative the second this changed. I've just spent four days at Crubenbeg House recharging the batteries. It continues to be the perfect base for short or longer visits and remains strongly recommended. The rooms are beautifully presented, clean...

What a find! We made quite a late booking as we wanted to spend some time in the Highlands, in particular visiting the Dalwhinnie distillery. Our 3 night stay (dinner, bed and breakfast) was perfect. John and Irene are very welcoming and the perfect hosts. All our needs were met, including the provision of a taxi service to the distillery...

Ian. You're as good as your word I see, thank you. But then, I expected nothing less from a man of your calibre. It was a delight having you both to stay here at Crubenbeg House and we are well pleased that you enjoyed your break in our fabulous part of Scotland. We both very much enjoyed the chats, the...
