Just an average roadside hotel, cheap & cheerful. Staff friendly, breakfast good, room clean and windows do open. Yes, it looks a bit dated and it may need a lick of pant here and there, but if the light is off, this will certainly not distract my good night sleep. The only fault is that the WiFi coverage is very... More

First time staying at this hotel. First impressions was that it was in need of a bit of TLC on outside. Inside staff very friendly & helpful. Rooms were spacious and light, bathroom a bit dated. Overall good & clean for what you pay. Breakfast was quite a narrow window, bit harse. The breakfast was good , quick & plentyful.... More

Spent 2 nights at The Lodge Hotel in Newtonmore Scotland, could not fault it, it ticked most boxes, spotlessly clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed, very hospitable staff and owners. The food was usual bar snack type food, but was ok. Good breakfast. Good short stay hotel...

First time staying here recently, the staff are wonderful and the food is cracking! The only thing that disappointed was the exterior! A simple lick of paint in places and a bit of weeding/tidying and you've got a cracker of a wee place! It's basic as are all hotels in this part of the world, but I really can't fault... More

I have just returned from a stay at this wonderful hotel. The food was homely and very well cooked and flavoured and the staff were brilliant. I stayed three nights at The Lodge Hotel and can honestly say that it was a very enjoyable time. The good food, the comfortable rooms, and the wonderful people made our three nights and days a memorable visit.

Our group was a mixture of adults and teenagers, and we spent three nights at the hotel. We had a great experience. The hosts were fantastic. They were very friendly and made us feel at home. The food was delicious, and we had more than what we could eat for each meal. The hotel is definitely not like a chain,... More

This hotel has a beautiful exterior and slightly disappointing interior. But what it lacks in aesthetics, it makes up for in perfect service, great bathrooms and comfort. The food at the hotel is great and seems to be pretty much all that is available in the area. This hotel is a great stopover for a night on your way to... More
