I had a pint and there was a good selection of beers. I decided to have a snack of Welsh rabbit, service was slow, even although only three customers were eating. The meal can be described as OK, sadly nothing great. I did not stay in the B & B, as I live locally.

Use the Thyme fairly regularly and we always find the service friendly and helpful.Staff are keen to make sure you are well looked after Bar is clean and well kept. Food is home cooked and is served fresh and is good value for money.

This pub is not too far away from where i live, and it's always a pleasure to go in for a couple of pints. They regularly switch barrels, and beer is always fresh. Staff are decent and know their stuff, and locals are pretty friendly.

Living locally in Chertsey we often visit the Thyme for their live music on Friday nights. Friends recommended the Sunday roast and we finally tried it today. We both had lamb absolutely huge portion of homemade roast tats, tender lamb shank, delicious gravy, veg, roast parsnips. Absolutely great value at £9.95 each after sampling some other Surrey pubs and restaurants...

Lovely comfortable bed, spotlessly clean room and bathroom. Fabulous hot shower and very nice toiletries. My husband ate every last mouthful of his full English breakfast. In 12 years of staying away almost every month, it's the first time I've seen that. He said the sausage and bacon were great quality and the mushrooms, tomatoes and fried bread were the...

We arrived here quite by chance late afternoon on Thursday. Having appointments in Godalming on Thursday we fully expected to drive the 5 hours home afterwards. After the day we had and the heat combined with the car park that was the M25 we diverted in to Chertsey. Parking up in the Sainsburys car park we asked a local of...

We stayed here for 5 nights, and could not have asked for more. Robert, one of the owners, was so friendly and helpful, as were all the staff, and customers. My daughter had recently broken her elbow, and one of the customers gave her proper sling which made our travels so much easier. I never even got a chance to...

Having stopped at chain hotels for a couple of weeks I requested an independent for a change, I am very glad I did! As the name suggests these are rooms over a pub, a smashing pub with real ale and interesting locals. The food is well cooked and presented, nothing flash, but we'll priced for the quality. My room was...
