Great friendly independent pub serving excellent selection of upto six Real Ales. Regular live bands and quiz nights Worth a visit. Located in the centre of the town, the staff are professionally and friendly.

First visit, two of us popped in for a mid-week lunch. Food was very nice and beer was also good. excellent service from friendly staff in a pleasant environment. We would go back there without hesitation, have heard that the sunday lunches are good.

I have stayed here in the past and it was very good, however this time it was a disaster. Group on downstairs immediately below our bedroom playing until 1.00a.m and they were dreadful too! Then staff continued beat music until 2.00 a.m whilst clearing up....More
