We have repeated a 1-week stay in El Roble and we will return every time we visit Montaña Palentina. For sure! Family treatment (with capital letters), clean and comfortable common spaces, room generous in space and comfort (adequate to the price they offer), easy parking and close to the historic center but without suffering the inconvenience of noise during August festivals. The reception, breakfast and cleaning staff make you feel that they are a great team with years of experience and that they leave nothing to your will to make you feel at home.

From the outside, this hotel looks tired and unattractive, but once inside that changes: the corridors and the rooms look modern and fresh. The rooms are very large by the way. Unfortunately, WiFi is very slow, barely usable ... The manager is helpful. We had breakfast in the cafeteria on the ground floor, but the first time the breakfast that was included in the room price (75 EUR for a double room) was clearly too little: only a slice of toast with tomato pulp and a coffee. After we mentioned this on the 2nd day, it was resolved. You can park (free) on the street almost in front of the door.

Excellent accommodation in Cervera to visit the beautiful Palentina mountain Endearing treatment from its manager, Luis, who will help you with everything you need for your routes in the area. Spacious and very clean room. Breakfast service at the hotel with everything you need Thankful for your hospitality Luis and we promise to return to this idyllic place in the mountains of Palencia

We spent a few days in Cervera de Pisuerga and stayed at this hotel. Totally recommended. Clean and cozy. Excellent treatment. The area is wonderful. We have done some routes through the mountains. The landscape is idyllic and relaxing. And to rest Hotel El Roble.🥰

I arrived in a rather bad outfit (from walking) and nearly didn't dare asking. But I was welcomed with warmth and helpfullness. I had 100 questions and requests and any of them was answered with a smile and competence. The room was absolutely clean and comfortable. The bocadillo and the breakfast were especially good.

We didn't stay at this hotel, but discovered the cafeteria after learning that most other eating places were either closed or only served food after 9.30 pm. The best and most friendly and helpful staff serving simple but freshly prepared home cooking. Perfect if you haven't become used to finishing your dinner somewhere around midnight.

Spent a night here on my way south through Spain after getting off ferry at Santander and was so impressed I stayed here again on way north two weeks later. Good tapas in bar down stairs. Rooms clean and modern. Wifi throughout. My return visit was on Easter Sunday and there was no hot food, and few options elsewhere in town - not sure whether this was a Sunday thing or an Easter Sunday thing.

We visited Cervera de Pisuerga for a couple of days and stayed here one Sunday evening. The room is lovely and modern with a comfortable bed, spacious wardrobe and some bathroom amenities. Everything was clean and super comfortable. The staff were lovely and offered excellent service. We ate breakfast the next morning and were impressed with the range of choices and the food itself. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Arrived cold and very wet from 320km motorcycle ride in pouring rain. Greeting was great, room was fabulous and the atmosphere in the cafe bar was fun. Would highly recommend. Room was spotless and all guest quarters looked brand new. Had a great night sleep. Town looked pretty but weather stopped us exploring to the full.
