Curolla Petit Hotel is a rather new boutique hotel in the sleepy village Maria de la Salut in more or less the middle of the Island. Palma is some 40 mins by car away, the sea some 15 mins and the Tramuntana (Lluc) some 30 mins. A great location to get the spirit of the authentic Majorca - beyond Platja de Palma, Puerto Andratx and the like. Some restaurants, bars and a grocery store nearby.
The hotel is a tastefulla restaured mansion where you feel the grandeur of the previous times. Nice large room accomodating the reception, a bar, the restaurant and some rooms; other rooms in buildings attached.
Spacious, tastefully decorated rooms with great beds offering excellent sleeping comfort. Though in the village center, very quiet especially at night.
The big plus are the (vegetarian) meals served: Excellent and by far above the standard breakfast with plenty of healthy offerings (some really great joghurts, fruits besides of chese & eggs). During the ongoing Pandemic situation, this is one of the very few places offering a set dinner (3-course meal offered at shifts to avoid too many guests being in the restaurant at the same time). Delicious vegitarian dishes offering a nice alternative to the often something boring Spanish food.
Excellent and very helpful service offered by the owner Julia - she finds a solution to almost every challenge. Clear "go"

We arrived much later than intended due to car trouble( don’t hire an electric car in Mallorca without doing your research) and were greeted by the lovely Veronica in the amazing open bar/reception of the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble. Towels were speedily supplied so we could head to the pool before the sun went down, recommendations were given for restaurants and a concert in a nearby plaza and all done with warmth and humour. First impressions are so important and were not misleading in this case. Our room was cool, stylish and very comfortable. We were encouraged to use the honesty bar if we wanted drinks after dinner and what a treat it was to help ourselves to a last glass of wine in such splendid surroundings.
Breakfast the next day was superb. Not just standard fare but home made pastries and other treats, and more lovely staff on hand to lead us to our table on the terrace. If we had known how great this little place is we would have stayed another night or two, and we will definitely go back. It’s a gem, fantastic value of money, and deserves to do really, really well.

Quite simply, the best hotel I've every stayed at. It's a little sanctuary in the centre of Mallorca. Staff are incredibly helpful and nice. Our room (the cosy room) was perfectly clean, cool and stylish. It had everything we needed. The food is literally out of this world - healthy and so tasty. If you're vegan or vegetarian, you have to go here! The pool is perfect and the communal areas have everything you need, including a big table with games, magazines, books and local things to do. My only complaint is that there aren't Curolla hotels in every country I go on holiday to. Please open more! I can't recommend this hotel enough.

We enjoyed staying at this truly wonderful petit hotel! The friendliest staff, very nice room, the best (and healthy) breakfast. Located in the middle of the island, Corolla is the perfect base to explore Mallorca by car (or bike for the more active people). Highly recommended!

We had never been to Mallorca before and had initially searched for a hotel by the sea. Persuaded by the high ratings we went for this place bang in the middle of the island. It was the best choice we could have made, we loved it.

Hotels make themselves known one way or the other when you are there. This one pulled off an illusion of living in a beautiful majorquinan courtyard, the evening lighting and half-moon sky adding extra gloss to the small landscaped garden and pool. A cool bar/eating area makes you long for times when this place can be buzzing with drop-in visitors testing the local craft beer. And then a saloon door swings open and food is served.

Every side of the island was in good reach from this place, which might be why it it is also popular with bike tourists. As it is, mornings by the pool emphasised the feeling of being in “our own” fantasy place. And then a door would open on top of one of the outdoor stone staircases and we could suddenly be on a theatre stage, not knowing whether this was [Hamlet or Pulcinello] coming down the steps. Very charming and “among-friends” atmosphere, young owners developing good vibes with all their guests with amazing ease.
The rooms, we suspect, are all different. Ours was stylish and spotless and anything we needed on top was taken care of.
The town has a nice square. We had a good meal in the cafe next to the Marie while the town’s speakers blasted 80s-vibes over the weekly market of underwear, dresses and fruit. Strong winds coming down from the still snow-peaked mountain range blew the Covid-blues off our souls; and our eyes could feast on palm trees, waves and gorgeous rock (whether as cliffs or on houses) for the entire stay. And while it was very bonkers German covid-rules that sent us to Mallorca/Majorca in the first place, it was an absolute gift to stay at hotel Curolla.

That pool area with the palm trees and plants was absolutely gorgeous! I didn't want to leave!

All the hotel staff were incredibly kind and helpful and made our stay really special.

The food was AMAZING! They had lots of vegetarian options, and really healthy options too!

I would recommend this place to anyone that wants something a little different, and a space to relax!

This hotel is BEAUTIFULLY finished, our room was very cosy/hygge with really nice decor touches. Netflix is available which I've not seen in a hotel before! The grounds are stunning and there are lots of instagram spots.

I was scared for breakfast because I do like a MEAT buffet but it was actually a lovely change to have fresh healthy options, and there is still bread and pastries and nutella so I didn't starve! Coffee was delicious. You can also have a healthy beach picnic option to take with you.

The host Julia is so nice, super helpful and told us all the best things to do on the island.

I think the only slightly effort thing is, the location/village, we didn't realize how totally dead it would be so if you are staying the day at the hotel it might get a bit claustrophobic. We had a car and left in the mornings every day so it was more than fine, but it was a pain to have to drive 10mins to Sineu for dinner every night.

Very nice hotel with ample parking. Magnificent hall and magnificent rooms. On the other hand, know this, everything is Vegan. Even if the breakfasts are very decent, we missed certain products for breakfast (like butter).
Maria de Salut is a quiet village......too quiet, no restaurant open the evening we were there.
