My wife and I stayed there for a night after visiting a vineyard around the area. The room was basic, neat and clean. No wifi in the room. The dinner was GREAT! The pork chop was out-of-this-world! The staff were friendly and the views were amazing! The drive to the hotel can be quite challenging given that the roads are...

As part of a walking holiday on Sardinia we were accommodated at Sant'elene. A delightful hotel situated on the side of the mountain with views over Dorgali. Our room was spacious, & clean with patio and garden swing. The food was special every night. The staff were friendly and especially helpful. We had numerous transfers to beginning and end of...

Located just out of Dorgali, we travelled here with close friends who have had a property in Sardinia for many years but they simply love this hotel and after staying here we could certainly appreciate why. As other reviewers have noted, the views are simply spectacular and the rooms big, clean and well kept. The owners are so friendly and...

Of the hotels we have stayed in on our trekking tour in Sardinia, so far this is the most comfortable. The room was spacious and the bathroom was modern. While none of the staff here spoke English, we were able to communicate and they were all friendly and helpful. Dinners were excellent and the food was plentiful!

Once you arrive at the hotel you get to appreciate just how stunning the views are. I say once you arrive because it is quite a trek both down and then up a mountain side, along very windy roads. We were lucky enough to have the only room with the jaw dropping view of the valley and the mountains but...

We stayed for three nights as a base for part of our walking holiday. The room was spacious with a balcony and a view of the mountains. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was lovely, the packed lunches were brilliant and the evening meals served in the scenic restaurant on the terrace were obviously fresh and home cooked!...

From the hotel we made three trips all in short driving distance: First the Goruppu gorge, an easy hike and stunning surrounding at the end of the deep gorge. The boat trip from Cala Gonone in the Golfo Orosei was priceless. We visited the spectacular coast, caves and secluded beaches with our own little motor boat. On the final day,...

Hotel Sant’elene is a reasonable place as a base to explore the east central part of Sardinia. It appears to be a family run enterprise, and everyone is very friendly, although English is in short supply (but with a dictionary and ample gestures everything that really needs to gets done). The bedroom and bathroom are plain, but reasonably sized and...

We stayed here one night and wish we had stayed for more. Wonderful small hotel with great views and more. We were two couples and our friends had stayed before. From the moment we arrived we were treated by Leeno with wonderful friendship akin to our being a member of the family. The rooms were spacious and the evening meal...

we have stayed at this small hotel twice now during our visits to Sardinia and it is a very pleasant friendly hotel that makes you fell very relaxed after a day at the nearby beaches. Nice sounds of cow bells in the hills and of sheep being herded during the evening in the slopes around the hotel. Very rural but...
