I stayed for one night in a small apartment. Large living area with kitchen facilities, separate bedroom and clean bathroom. I wasn't met, but the instructions for retrieving the key were easy to follow (once I worked out that the entrance was at the back!) Breakfast was great. I was able to leave my suitcase in the lobby after checkout...

I debated between a 4½ and a 5 for a long time before writing this review. I wondered if I could really give a place that doesn't offer an Internet connection of any kind an "excellent" rating. In the end, I decided I could. During an extended, two-week adventure involving Germany, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia, this was probably the...

We have been going to Seiffen for over 20 years as I have a Gift Shop here in Wisconsin and we specialize in German goods from the Erzgebirge. We have stayed at this Pension MANY times and have recommended it to anybody else who is fortunate to be going to Seiffen. We were just there in April, 2013, and found...

“Zimmer One is on the first floor, right inside the door, and is the BIGGEST room we have ever had in any hotel anywhere. The other two rooms on the first floor, two and three, are smaller but there is also an apartment on the first floor with cooking features. There is another non-cooking apartment on the third floor, plus a charming double room, and a quaint single one, under the eaves. The cost is by the person, not the room. We always ask for Zimmer One First!”
