I've been to Idstein on two occasions for work and ended up staying here because another hotel was full...I'm really glad that happened! The hotel is right on the edge of the old center city and within walking distance of everything you need and has the added attraction of a Brauhaus only 50 meters away. :-) Everyone I've met has...

Try to stop here when working in Idstein, really friendly family run hotel. Rooms are fairly basic but always spotlessly clean and warm with immaculate on suite bathrooms. Breakfast is continental buffet with plenty of choice and always fresh.

This is a meticulously maintained little hotel at the base of the Witches Tower. Rooms are quiet and well appointed. Great value for the money. It's one block from the historic square. We walked from the train station. It takes about 20 minutes (all downhill). They also provide a tasty breakfast buffet. There seems to be an apple theme to...

family run hotel. Very friendly welcome. Room is big, clean anc comfortable. We had a twin bed room with a view on the tower. Breakfast buffet good quality, but not much choice. Free parking is available for the guest in front of the hotel. Convienently located in Idstein, easy to walk around this very pretty historic town.

It's a small family own hotel with about 34 rooms. You will get a key for the room, the elevator and common access doors. Rooms are of a decent size, you get a single bed, a sofa bed and a small desk in single rooms. Breakfast consists of a small buffet hot coffee or tea, seasonal fruits, cold cuts of...

Nice family hotel, well located and maintained. Room size, furniture and bathroom are good, well equipped and isolated. Wifi was very very poor, connection unstable and at very low speed, impossible to read even emails without attachments (!!!). Bathroom was not correctly cleaned in my room. Some yellow drops in my WC. Breakfast is poor and unvaried, during my stay...

Nice clean room. Very friendly staff. We stopped here on our way home from Switzerland. Stayed in one room with our two children an still plenty of space left for them to play. Unfortunately no child seat available in the breakfast room. Would go here again if they buy some seats.

Super clean, quiet, helpful . I always stay here when travelling uk to Budapest by car, I even look forward to my good sleep at this hotel. The owning family are friendly and helpful . Rooms clean and simple but not basic. Ideally located to centre of Idstein, a lovely town. Fully recommend to anyone.

The Hotel Felsenkeller is a typical German, non-chain hotel – simply and plainly furnished, clean, neat and comfortable. The rooms are of medium size, come equipped with a good internet connection and the owner’s family are warm and welcoming. At times when the reception is not available, you are given a key to the outside door and can come and...
