After many days of touring France and eating magnificently, our 12 year old son voted for a pizzeria and this was the closest to where we were staying. It coming with a recommendation from the owner of the chateau where we stayed nearby, we thought that we'd give it a go. The dining room was rather oppressive and uninviting. The...

We ate in the restaurant of this hotel on 16th August 2013. Surprisingly good - we had been trying to eat in the Michelin star restaurant St Fortunat in the town but it was closed for summer holidays. I agrre they deserve holidays but was surprised that it was closed in the busiest tourist period. However back to the restaurant...

I don't think we have ever stayed in such an odd room - there wasn't a single right angle in the room or en suite area. All the basic furniture in a hotel room, bed, wardrobe, table are oblongs and the result is stange shaped and not very usable spaces around the room. That wasn't the problem - somebody had...
