We had the apartment "Romanee Conti" which has a fine bedroom with massive king bed, a fine, high-ceilinged living room, luxurious bathroom, with separate lavatory. Wifi worked perfectly in the room. It faces on to the patio, which is convenient for walking up to the car park and for parking temporarily near the room to load luggage. We had no...

We stayed two nights at this lovely hotel as part of a bike trip. It is well decorated, lovely staff and comfortable rooms. Our only complaint was that our room opened to a patio (so you could not leave a window open). The location was great for biking and visiting vineyards. Bathrooms were marble and well appointed. The breakfast selection...

This hotel is a must if you have decided to explore the fascinating wineyards of Burgundy. It is a very fine hotel, elegant and classic, with antique furniture, and modern facilities. No kitsch. The Wi-Fi did not function in our room. The manager explained that there were some technical problems with the provider, and tried to resolve the problem herself....

We agree that Ziltener is a beautiful place with a good staff. In August 2011, the place seemed a bit overrun with tourists who are bussed in to do wine tastings-- the hotel has a small wine business and a tasting room, and offers high qaulity Burgundy at decent prices. The groups tend to be 40 or so, and have...

This is a lovely small hotel, very quiet and remote. The bed could be a bit more comfortable. A little to firm for me. We encountered these types of beds in a couple of places. They are not plush. The pillows, soft. The bathroom was spacious and very nice. Our junior suite was very spacious Breakfast is pretty basic European...

We stayed here a few years back and enjoyed it so much that we had to include it again in our most recent holiday. Thanks to many emails between us and Doris we were able to book 8 nights in Les Amoreuses suite. This was probably one of the best hotel rooms we have had although we would recommend the separate...

On the morning we woke up a little late, after breakfast time, however breakfast was waiting for us in and was really good, the chef made sure...

Just spent three days at this fabulous hotel in Burgundy. The property is beautiful and our room (which was upgraded to a suite) was incredible. Madame Swartz was a gracious and charming hostess. Breakfast was served in a gorgeous dining room. Everything was immaculate and first class. The location was a short drive to several charming wine towns a short...

We absolutely LOVED this Chateau! Centrally located in Burgundy, It is a beautiful chateau in a lovely village. However, what really makes it special is the staff. They absolutely could not do enough to please us. Every time they saw us..."Could I.."....they were magnificent and so helpful! Our room was huge with a very comfortable bed and immaculate. The bathroom...

My husband and I truly enjoyed the ambiance of this beautiful Chateau. Impressive grounds and facilities, very well maintained. Breakfast was served and the setting was lovely. However, twice out of our four night stay, we had to ring the bell for service which, of course, was a bit off-putting, and within a few minutes a staff person would appear...
