Basic but nice and very clean hotel. We had the family room where in one part was a bit a musty smell. Very good breakfast on very nice terrace with view on waterside. Very friendly and helpfull couple that runs the hotel.

Booked thus hotel as an overnight stay through France and just sorry we didn't stay longer. A warmer welcome you will not get and the rooms are just right, modern, airy and clean!!! We had a nice balcony although small overlooking the Seine and the hotel is a short walk to the marina and beach front. Parking in the area is also good. The warm welcome to the hotel was repeated at breakfast which was served outside. Breakfast was an excellent continental buffet with more than you could eat Throughly recommendrd

Stayed with large group (18) taking part in a charity cycle ride through France. Owner and wife were charming and accommodating of a huge variety of departure times, bike storage, breakfast was great lots of variety and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms facing the river also get some road noise but nothing that keeps you awake thought the night. Shower was tiny....don't drop the soap or else you have to get out of the shower!! Good as a base to explore both the town and the wider area.

We stayed at the Hotel Du Cap for 6 days whilst exploring the area on a motorbike, the couple are extremely friendly and very helpful and the room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were enjoyable with a good selection.

We almost arrived outside of the check-in hours but the owner offered to wait. We had to cancel the last night unexpectedly and couldn't do it via booking.com but the owner didn't make us pay for it. They offered to have breakfast earlier to accomodate our plans. The room for 3 had all the comfort needed with a nice bathroom. Only the mattresses were a bit too soft and the room tended to be humid (outside temperature was cold in the morning). Rate was a bit high but probably due to the Intl surf competition that weekend.

This in my humble opinion is exactly how small mid range hotels should operate. A very welcoming man booked us in and was charming as he showed us to our room. He allowed me to look stupid as I tried to speak French and then communicated with me in perfect broken English. He put up with me trying to speak French throughout our 2 day stay which I am sure for him was long enough, but he greeted me each time we met and made me feel that I was doing my bit to rebuild bridges despite Brexit. Our room was spotlessly clean and decorated in pastel colours with a small balcony overlooking the harbour. The relatively busy road could not be heard when the shutter was down and door closed. The hotel was in a nice position just a ten minute walk to the sea and restaurants, a walk I might add that seemed for some reason shorter on the way back. I have not worked out why! I didn't fully utilise every option on the shower, suffice to say it was very modern, powerful and did the job. If I have one slight criticism it would be that the bed was comfortable and large enough but not as good as some I have experienced. Certainly not uncomfortable though. Breakfast was a feast with plenty of options all laid out buffet style where again we met the lovely man and somebody I really hope was his wife working their hardest to set up and clear the tables. There was fresh fruit, dried fruit, meats and cheeses along with plenty of coffee and bread and croissants etc. etc. This couple work very hard at making the hotel a real success. Try it out. If our experience is anything to go by you will not be disappointed.

Thank you so much Hotel Du Cap for another lovely stay. This hotel is beautifully decorated, clean and ideally located; within walking distance to restaurants, shops and the beach. A good breakfast is also available although we chose not to have this. The owners are so lovely and accommodating, and treated us like old friends. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough for others visiting Capbreton. We cannot wait to return again next year. Merci beaucoup pour votre hospitalite.

This hotel may only be a two star, but it is spotlessly clean, the room that we were in was very clean and spacious with a small balcony. Breakfast is served in a covered area at the front of the hotel, the breakfast is continental style with a good choice bread pastry and fruit. The owners are also friendly. The hotel has street parking outside, you are about 15 minutes walk to the beach, you will pass many restaurants on the way there. I would definately reccomend this hotel, don't let the 2 stars put you off.
