I was surprised at how modern the interior of the hotel was. The staff were so kind and friendly, and you can tell they cared about their guests. Breakfast was delicious and the rooms were clean and well maintained. I would definitely stay here again. The only concern is that the hotel is not ADA compliant if you are an...

I had been using the Boardhouse accommodation before, and was quit impressed by the price quality ratio of the place. Unfortunately the " what you see is what your get" quote doesn't seem to be the m.o. of the owner of this place… Even though i booked a room in the Boardhouse accommodation ( via booking.com) i was " moved"...

I really like boardhouse for its location which is close to the KU Leuven, a great bakery, a local park, a church and in a well to do neighbourhood. the building has been restorated and the amenities are modern. the interior decoration i can call minimalist, and has a zen feeling. the room that i stay is not that big...

My party of four travelled to Belgium from Aberdeen and stayed in two rooms at the Boardhouse in Leuven as our base for the 2014 Rock Werchter festival. The hotel location is in a pleasant suburb called Heverlee, which has numerous shops, cafes and pubs close by and is a five minute walk from its own railway platform, just one...

We stayed here for 4 nights while in Leuven for the RockWerchter festival. The staff were very friendly and accommodating (5/5). Rooms are clean and comfortable. We had basic room which still had a mini bar, TV etc. We didn't have breakfast or any meals at the hotel. Fridge and safe were both 'broken' but quickly sorted out by the...

Let me start this review rather atypically.. - I booked a night in - what i thought was Boardhouse - last week. - I booked the place since i stayed there one night end 2013 and i was very enthusiast about it, but didn't "tripadvise" @ that time…. BUT : Be careful : - This hotel seems to have a...

Hotel was recommended from a colleague as an alternative to the usual airport-business hotels. Leuven itself is a much nicer city compared to Brussels, it has a wonderful old city centre, absolutely beautiful. Having the option in the evening to do more than taking a train down town we also accepted the 20-30 rush hour drive to the airport area....

Be careful when booking this hotel, I had to depart 1 day in advance and I've been charged as originally booked. I thas happen to me in other hotels to change the plan after check-in and I've never had issue or have been charged for the other nights. They shoud better ask money in advance then will be clear when...

Excellent hotel, clean and nice rooms, new renovated, great breakfast, not in centrum but easy to get there. Free wireless internet but connection sometimes not that good. Free bicycles are the tip of the cake.
