I've been here several times and have never been disappointed. The hotel has everything for a memorable and relaxing holiday. The location is brilliant - there are walks for all levels right from the house. There are walks/hikes offered every day with guides or lots of information if one wants to chose and do their own walk/hike. On bad weather... More

Really nice hotel. Friendly, cosy and nice spa area. Newly renovated lovely room. Very nice breakfast. The food was not superior, but the salad buffe was excellent. Would love to go back. Ski bus to the slopes. A walking distance to closest cabin.

First impression after arrival was the bad smell! Next was the staff - not professional at all and sometimes they were even kind of rude to us. The wellness and the offer of various facilities was great. However it was drowned by mold that was present in the pool. Maybe it was because of the end of the winter season,... More

We stayed at hotel Tuxertal for a wellness-weekend. The weekend was great. Hotel Tuxertal is a familiy-run hotel... and you will notice that. Every familiy member welcomed us heartly and we felt very welcome from the first moment. This first impression was confirmed during the whole stay. The hotel and the rooms itself are beautifully decorated and very quiet. The... More

There is not really a lot I can add to all the positive reviews others have given, just to reiterate that the place feels like home. The staff are very friendly, the rooms are spotless and the food is excellent.

Thursday night was "murder mystery" night at the Hotel Tuxertal with the hotel staff performing the parts of murder suspects in the killing of a doctor with a billard cue. All good fun and part of the buffet evening at the hotel. I won't divulge the killer; you will have to take part to find out...and decipher the killer from... More

A very comfortable hotel run by a large family. It was such a pleasure to be looked after by them; they had obviously had superb training. Our Larch suite overlooked the beautiful mountains from a generous balcony. Every day one of the family made sure they chatted with us about our stay and helped us to get the most out... More

We've been to Tux and the nearby Zillertal a couple of times before and stayed in smaller hotels. This time, we decided to stay in a wellness-oriented sports hotel with all-incl (food, sports, ski-pass etc). Found the "Hotel Tuxertal" through user votes in Google Maps and we were pretty surprised by almost everything. Although it's not located directly at the... More
