Nestled along the dew drenched slopes of a former coffee plantation, The Ibnii is an Eco-Lux resort in the serene hills of Coorg. Spread over a sprawling 120 acres of sheer evergreen woodlands, in an almost perfect natural trough, we wouldn't be stretching it if we told you we have our own climate here! The vastness of nature, teeming with life and open in its essence is something we have naturally come to emulate as part of our work culture which promotes openness and collective growth. With 22 private pool villas, 12 wooden cottages, premium residences. We have refined luxury and comfort to match the highest expectation of the global traveler and yet maintain our delicate balance with Nature. As part of the founder's vision, the land has been returned to nature with unobtrusive architecture but with the best of creature comforts in place for an unforgettable holiday experience. At Ibnii, we understand our place in nature, we deeply respect and cherish it. We are ourselves touched by it everyday and in these years, it has transformed us in more ways than we can express. It is our desire to let you have a first-hand experience of beholding such beauty, unfolding every moment, leaving you rested and renewed from within. Sometime soon, on a dew drenched morning, in the sun kissed slopes, we hope to welcome you to The Ibnii.

Nestled in a serene forest setting, The Ibnii offers travelers a luxurious escape with its opulent pool villas, private jacuzzis, and a host of activities, from nature walks to spa indulgences. While guests adore the spacious, comfortable rooms and the hotel's commitment to sustainability, there are isolated reports of maintenance and service hiccups.
The tranquil atmosphere and professional staff receive high marks, though opinions on value are mixed, with some criticism aimed at additional charges. Cleanliness and the hotel's natural beauty, however, are universally celebrated.

Nestled in the lap of nature, The Ibnii is a must. Although the accommodation is inside their coffee plantation, which is a part of 150+ acres of their land, you won't ever be far away from the rawness of nature. Chirping of birds, a racket caused by the insects or the vision of the resort which is Eco vacations. It's the best outing for newly married and the seasoned couples*wink wink*. Also for the people with kids, it's an experience. Right from the electric buggies/cars used for commuting and hauling guests inside their property, their architecture and design for the guests accomodation (aesthetic and to the point) and common areas like restaurant, bar and spas, their food menu (which reminds me of their portions being little.. So order a small portion, eat and if you like it, which you will, order accordingly). Very hospitable staff. Me and my wife were for major times attended by Arpita, who was an absolute ace, and others also who were as warm and accommodating. Do visit their in-house cafe. You won't be sorry.
We stayed in a premium suite which had a temp controlled pool (it's outside in the open joining your suite/villa, but the water will be appropriate accordingly, also had a Jacuzzi which worked perfectly. Before booking on any website, call their website and check if they have any offers running. They do help you book the best and under appropriate budget. Stayed there for 2 nights, wish we (me and the better half) could, more..
They have activities like hiking, baking classes for nominal charges, spa (western and ayurvedic), plantation walk. Else if you feel overly active, thanks to the abundant oxygen you get, you can venture out and explore the property unless you have dementia*kidding*.
All the rooms are non-smoking, but you can sit outside on your balcony or beside the pool and enjoy that harmful yet comforting smoke.
They have limited options in the menu from which you can order room service, but they are delicious.
The ambience is just right (especially in monsoon), hospitality is unquestionable (right from the gate security till the manager), the accommodations are rustic and minimal (they do have tv fyi, but only/mostly their WiFi and not much phone network) and the food, although the portions are minimal, is just always freshly made with good ingredients and care and always open to any recipe suggestions.
Looks like, have to make this at least a yearly ritual now.
(Special mention to Arpita and Kaif among the staff).
Au revoir Ibnii!!!

I would still give it very good inspite of the higher management being largely clueless and useless. I visited with my family from june 2 to june 5, 2024.
Bad things first
1. Be ready for no network for your in your phone. Being 200 acre property with pool villas we learnt a hard lesson regarding that.
2. There is no plan b if ur room wifi and landline, which is one single connection stops working. As then ur mobile may not have network and then you might have to take 15 to 20 minutes hilly walk to reception for any bare minimum requirements
3. There is no emergency number list in room even if u by chance have a mobile network
4 There are not enough anti slip measures in bathroom. Please be careful
5. Front office reception is not trained and empowered enough to handle crises
Inspite of having the bad experience on first day. The general manager never came to ask us during our stay if we are happy and satisfied with their solutions. He was just busy in clinching the bulk deals with high profile clients.
Now the good things
1. The driver who came to pick from kannur airport was very nice and friendly
2. The food is really good and the ingredients they use are really fresh and nice. maharajji who handles north Indian cuisine is a really skilled chef.
3. The staff in restaurant like Ms Sumona and Ms Monali were very eager to cater to personal requests which makes your stay memorable
4 Mr Bipin Changappa is the real superstar of property. He adds life to activities . He loves his job and is really knowledgeable. His demeanor is also very praiseworthy
5. The property in itself is really beautiful and relaxing.
6. They have actually invested in sustainability which is rare in today’s date
I will like to end with a funny anectode. We payed a big amount for three days stay in this hotel. This property has a rule that if you waste food they will fine you and feed the poor from that fine. When we were troubled so much on the first day and they were not able to handle initially, i just asked them that maybe you should given me some refund from which i will feed the poor. To this they were speechless.

Nestled within the lush embrace of a forest, Ibni Resort proved to be a delightful sanctuary for a weekend getaway. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in the tranquil beauty of nature, far removed from the hustle and bustle of city life. Every corner of Ibni Resort exudes a sense of calm and serenity. Whether lounging on the spacious veranda of our room or strolling along the winding pathways, each moment felt like a blissful escape into nature's embrace. Highly appreciative of eco friendly concepts that resort is adhered to.
Review wouldn’t be complete without mentioning the exceptional hospitality extended by the Ibni staff. From the warm welcome upon arrival to the attentive service throughout our stay, every interaction was marked by genuine care and professionalism.
Highly recommended for anyone in search of a truly unforgettable escape.

Indeed a place to relax and a paradise for Nature lovers. We stayed at the Ibnii for 3 nights in a Premium Private Pool Villa (viz. Kopi Luwak) and the stay was amazing.
1. Room: spacious and clean
2. Staff: Amazing, super friendly
3. Activities: we've done
Coffee Trails
Cookie Baking for kids and
Massage at "Manja" Spa
4. Food: you'll find variety of vegetable dishes and less Non Veg ; but it was delicious. There was Live kitchen as well.
5. Pool: our Villa was equipped with a temperature controlled private pool, kids enjoyed playing out there. Watch out for monkeys, even though we never had an issue with it.
- I couldn't experience Cycling out there, we were informed that because of the wet conditions it might be dangerous
- Buggy, unfortunately, the waiting was bit longer, but they managed well
- Jacuzzi, our Villa had a Jacuzzi, unfortunately, there was some issue with its drain plug, and the technician fixed it next day.
- They could have add an Iron Box and Ironing board ( now a day's its a basic thing in every hotel room) but we have to make an extra payment.
Some 360 photos are uploaded in google maps.

I am writing this review before my stay ended. I still have two more days left. IBNII Resort is
Simply outstanding !
The property is extremely breathtaking with lush green trees and plants sprawled across over 100 acres.
The wooden cottages are beautiful, they give off a very luxurious vibe.
Another highlight of this place, is their multi-cuisine restaurant named the Fig.
The food and hospitality is absolutely amazing. Everything in their buffet spread including breads and desserts are heavenly. They don’t use sugar, all the sweetness comes from natural sugars and jaggery.
Special mention of the restaurant senior captain Alexander, who takes extremely good care of all the guests, when at the restaurant.
He and his team made a custom order of Coorg special Pandi curry and akki rotti ( pork curry infused with locally sourced spices and rice flatbread) for us! We loved the flavors and there was enough variety to tantalize our taste buds and then some.
We personally want to thank Alex and his team for their exceptional hospitality and customer service.
That, coupled with the serene atmosphere made our vacation so very memorable.
One has to come here to experience what true Nature is. Just reading reviews will not help!

Had an amazing stay here at IBNII. With lots of greenary around the room makes us wake up to the most beautiful misty mornings. Excellent place to just visit and unwind. Kaldee kaapee (the Hi Tea) is surrounded with a beautiful scenic view and we get the most amazing tasting coffees . Excellent service by the staff. Neetu ,Abhishek , Aaradhya and Sumona have been really warm and very pleasant with their excellent service and they always carry that beautiful smile on their face which makes it even more pleasant😊😊Housekeeping staff does a great job. Overall a very pleasant experience. Looking forward coming here again.

My wife and I went as a weekend getaway from Bangalore. Turned out to be one of the better decisions we have taken. Drive from Bangalore takes about 5 hours, with excellent road conditions. We stopped by for lunch in the outskirts of Mysore.
We chose Pool Villa, where we were welcomed with a big two-room villa with a huge bathroom (which also happened to have a Jacuzzi), a balcony, and of course, the pool. Rooms and furniture were extremely comfortable. Bathroom was a pleasure to use. Pool itself was fairly secluded by the vegetation (almost ‘private’ for all practical purposes).
The property was huge. There were electric vehicles to transport people from the main gate to the living/eating areas which were quite deep into the property. Walking around was a pleasure, and we used the buggy only twice when we had to move with our suitcases.
There were activities planned as per a tight schedule which included nature walks, eco walks, baking classes, yoga sessions etc. We had the pleasure of attending a coffee trail (where we were taken through the coffee plantations) and a nature walk (included a tour of the other plants and bird watching). We also enjoyed a decent massage session at the spa. Air quality was listed at 10 AQI (major cities being around 100-200).
Restaurant was top notch, and had ample variety and excellent quality of food. Most food was claimed to be sourced locally and cooked with no sugar (jaggery was the prime sweetener). Taste and quality was second to none. There was an extremely picturesque coffee shop by a lake which served snacks and coffee every afternoon. Coffee breaks there were the unwinds we most looked forward to during our 2 day stay there
Overall a wonderful experience, would definitely recommend to anyone for a 2-day staycation in the heart of nature, with modern amenities.
Special shoutout to Mr Bipin, our excellent and knowledgeable guide for coffee trails, nature walks, and basically everything related to coffee or local wildlife; Mr Abhishek from the coffee shop Kaldi Kaape, who made sure we had the perfect evening every evening; and to all the staff who made the stay smooth and easy.

Set amidst 125 acre of dense forest, the natural beauty and location of The IBNII is top notch. The room ( we stayed in Pool Villas) was spacious and equipped with luxurious facilities like Jacuzzi, private infinity pool, separate bedroom and living room and well stocked up tea/coffee set up.
The location and views from the coffee shop are mesmerising, and you will never have enough of it.
The staff is polite and helpful but need to be polished to provide better and proactive services, something one would expect to receive after paying such hefty tariffs.
While I really appreciate their policy of Zero food wastage and NO to artificial Color and White Sugar. I believe that it should not act as deterrent to provide good quality ( read tasty) and variety food. The food menu is almost fix with some minor changes. The varieties are very very limited, and leaves you with very limited choices after removing local items ( which most people don’t eat). Any request for additional item ( not part of buffet menu) is mostly turned down. The desert section in particular is pretty ordinary.
The activities like coffee trail, baking etc. are for name sake and aren’t meaningful. Few of the activities like Cycling etc were not functional.

We booked this property for a group of 16, having received confirmation that they could provide Jain food at their vegetarian restaurant. Unfortunately, the hospitality was far below our expectations. The staff seemed unwilling to accommodate our requests, often saying no to almost everything. When I raised concerns about the poor service and food quality with the manager, his response was a dismissive, "What can I do?"
While the taste of the food was acceptable, it was served very cold. We were given a thali with dal, sabji, and chawal, all of which were cold and unappetizing.
This property has great potential with its beautiful setting and premium pricing, but the experience was disappointing. Improved hospitality could make a significant difference.

Hi. I guess this can be answered only by the property truthfully. The pool itself was quite cold, refreshing after the first few minutes. Only a plunge pool, cannot do laps. The villa was temperature controlled
