The resort is in the cool location with decent amenities like swimming pool , restaurant named sheesham, indoor games and quite a few outdoor games. View from the backside of the resort is beautiful. There is a spacious parking. Additionally there is an adjacent Cafe which serves the palettes of modern people with delicious snacks or food with coffee. Rooms are decent. Though I felt the room could be little bit more spacious for the amount we pay. (Room type superior). Its quite close to madikeri town (2.5 km) . Restaurant food is decent and tasty but I felt the alacarte items are bit expensive for dinner or lunch. Room service people is highly responsive and the staff are courteous. People out there try to help their customers quickly if there is any issue during their stay. I would recommend this resort for anyone out there to explore.

We had a pleasant and memorable stay at Woodstock resort Coorg.
What makes this resort extra special is the ever smiling and helpful loving nature of its staff.
Right from the start, it was so smooth with the help of the reservation team & Nisarga who assisted us by extending my parents room by 1 day and the extra care of the reception team on our check-In as we had arrived late, after 10:30pm which was the closing time of the Dinner buffet, we received a phone call by the receptionist and the restaurant staff, what will be our dinner preference so that they will have it arranged and be kept in the room for us. These are the initial small gestures which creates a family feeling.
The reception , housekeeping & the restaurant staff and the cute boy Dixit at the club house whom I enjoyed playing Table tennis with, all were so friendly that they made us feel very welcomed here.
We even went to the Spa for the Traditional Ayurvedic Kerala Massage from Zubin & it was Relaxing to the core.
Santosh at the restaurant made us taste a special and delicious homemade dry fruit ice cream and always inquired if everything was up to our expectations and if we wanted anything apart from the buffet to be served which was extraordinary.
The Management of this resort should be proud of their Exceptional Staff and always retain such valuable assets.
A few Negative feedbacks and suggestions which need to be absorbed in a positive way and improved——
1) Please do something about Lizards in the room. There were 2 in 101 and my sister in law had sleepless nights. Every day the window next to my bed 102 was kept open by housekeeping when they finished cleaning my room. Why do they keep it open?
2) Add more Non-Veg dishes please. Chicken served was always very tough and more of bones.
3) Update your website if anything is under maintenance. I was told the swimming pool was shut only on check-In . I had done my research ,filtered & searched for hotels in Coorg specifically with swimming pool. The biggest disappointment of our trip.

Was a lovely holiday Resort is about 15 mins away from the market. Madikeri is still peaceful ( had read very unfavorable reviews) and the location of the resort made for a peaceful holiday. Rick cost rs. 40 one way in the day and some more in the evening Resort has in house restaurant as well as cafe - big cup (amazing cafe food) Restaurant food is really good with all tasty Coorg specials being served fish, akki roti, mutton, etc. We had not selected the buffet. Rooms are spacious and clean and hospitality is top notch. Bathroom tiles look dirty but they are not, it is how the nature of the tiles are. Beautiful surroundings with plants and flowers It even has a game room with a plethora of indoor games. There are also a few outdoor games available. Beautiful scenic view from the ground. Swimming pool is also available for use and well maintained, we did not use it as it was too cold.

On the spur of the moment, I decided to go to Coorg, which was being projected as the Scotland of India. After several failed attempts to get through the top notch hotels in Coorg, I contacted the Woodstock. The resort was full and the receptionist suggested that I take another property of theirs which was only about 500 mtrs away. I accepted it. Travelling from Kochi, Kerala, I meandered my way through Wayanad. There is only one mobile number listed on the hotel site. Unable to locate the place after I reached Coorg, I started to call the number repeatedly. The lady, one Nisarga did not pick my call till I reached the place after traveling for an extra one and half hours. The Woodstock Resort has a pool, a restaurant and is owned by a gentleman named Sirajuddin. He has put in a lot of effort for its upkeep. However, the staff are inept and inefficient. The restaurant in the resort is not very expensive, however, the coffee shop is very expensive. I was soon directed to go to their sister concern - The Woods. As soon as I entered the compound of The Woods, I realised that I was taken for a ride. The Woods is a 2nd hand building purchased by the Woodstock. It is an apartment-styled building. Once you enter the main door, there are two rooms, which could be given to two different families. There is absolutely no privacy. To my shock I found that the water available through the taps were brackish and smelled awful. With no facility worth the name, the owner was charging the same amount that of the Woodstock. A cramped car park and erratic Wifi, the Woods which is a sister concern of the Woodstock is to be avoided at all costs. The bedsheets were soiled, the rooms were just minimal. There was no wi fi available inside the rooms. No privacy since there was a balcony around the rooms which could be accessed by anyone. The receipt that was issued did not contain the GST or CGST details which is mandatory as per Rule 46 of the CGST Rules, 2017.
I would give only one star for this resort and would advise others to skip the same.

Be cautious when dealing with Woodstock Resort, as they may attempt to extract more money from you. As an educational tour organizing company, we recently brought a group of 70 students to the resort. We initially inquired about our requirements on January 17th and received a package price. However, just three days before the group's arrival, they suddenly raised the charges for Hi Tea, which was originally included in the initial price. This unexpected increase resulted in an additional expense of almost Rs 40,000.
Furthermore, the standard rooms at Woodstock Resort are disappointingly small, basic, and unclean. However, there are some positive aspects to note. The food served at the resort was of high quality, and the staff were polite and helpful throughout our stay. Additionally, the resort's location is conveniently close to Madikeri

First off, I will not recommend this to anyone I know. I booked a standard room which was in a separate building, I am not sure if other room type have a different experience.
1. In room service was terrible, the items ordered and served were very different. This has occurred more than once.
2. Room cleanliness - there were stains on the washroom tiles, the floors were mosaic and dirty. The water closet not cleaned properly, towels had yellow stains on them.
3. Room location - I was given a room on the ground floor in front of the staff quarters, this was completely below the ground floor, no view and constant chatter of staff walking in and out
Room cost - 8.5k for 4 ppl and 2 rooms

This hotel is located at a prime location in coorg and is a natural beauty which is full of different flowers and plants. The rooms are spacious but requires some basic improvements in terms of interiors. Specially want to mention that the restaurant offers great buffet spread and food quality is just awesome. They even provided us with necessary baby food on our special request for our 8month baby. Thanks to chef Tapan for offering a memorable culinary delight. All the staff members are kind and helpful.

Woodstock Resort is a Very Good Resort in Madikeri (Coorg) with Lovely Cottages, a Nice Swimming Pool and Good Breakfast too. They have Non Cottage Rooms as well for Couples which are quite large and well furnished. The Cottages are for 4 persons, but have only 1 Bath cum Toilet, which is a bit inconvenient. The property is Very Well Maintained, the Pool is large and Very Clean and the Breakfast served is Freshly Prepared and tasty too. Overall a Very Good Property to stay at in Madikeri/Coorg and Well Recommended too.

We had a wonderfully comfortable stay here in Woodstock resort, Madikeri. Its located not too close to the main city but not that far either (just 5 to 7 mins by car) We stayed in the villa for 4 days and it was a wonderful stay. Rooms are large, airy & comfortable. staff are very friendly & helpful. the resort itself is large area, beautifully landscaped. There is a large spacious verandah kind of sit out area outside the villa rooms, with comfortable sofas, foot rests & side tables. This area is an excellent idea as you dont want to be cooped up in the room, Sitting outside in a place that has beautiful weather like Coorg is WOW!
Only thing the breakfast can be better, but its OK i guess.
they do have a buffet at nights for 550/- head. But I would give that 2 stars. we went at 10 ( they did inform us that the buffet would be open till 10.30) the burners had already been turned off so everything was ice cold. we had to serve ourselves & request the boys to microwave our food for us. the dinner spread did leave a lot to be desired. so after that 1 st night we never went back for there for the buffet. we wud have a snack outside & return to the hotel Or order room service. The room service menu is good, priced right, a dish can be shared by 2 persons. and the food is good, So i would recommend opting for the room service menu.
They have a nice pool as well. altho we didnt use it as it was just too cold......
All in all this is a super Resort to opt for during your stay in Coorg. I highly recommend it. we & our friends sure did have a wonderful relaxing stay at Woodstock Resort.!!!
