For those complaining of their rooms getting cancelled, the hosts mention well in advance to make an advance payment so that they can lock the room for you. There are 100s of spam callers, they are not super humans to know the authenticity of your plan for travel. Mr Prakash and leena(hosts) are very mild people. They received us as early as 4am, with a smile. - Very calm hosts, nature lover, farmer by heart. - Decent food. - What a surrounding, deep into the woods. - Secure and pocket friendly for such place. Loved it. Ignore false feedbacks, do visit with family.

June 2017 I have booked two rooms in this home stay for my family trip, we had planned for three days trip in Coorg with two family and three kids, One day before when I called she said it is already given to some one else, just said she forgot and given to some one else and it is such a very irresponsible answer. And our entire trip ruined because of this cancellation. Please avoid going to this home stay.

Coorg Woodside is a very decent place to stay, which is surrounded by natural scenic beauty. We can never forget the tasty food cooked by Leena Aunty. A total private property, away from the city, a complete peaceful environment, best in Coorg ... Its a very nice/calm place to plan your stay without any second thought. The hosts Leena Aunty, Prakash Uncle & their son Ashik were cordial & helpful. I will visit this place again with family - Vimala.

The rooms need to be clean and that was just perfect. The people are very nice Both Leena aunty and Prakash uncle take care of their guests very well. They are very accommodative and helpful. No restrictions on music volume etc. As for the food, it was simple homely hygienic and very yummy too !! Must visit whether you are a big group or handful of people. Suitable to all.

Booked this homestay on 12th Dec for new year trip with Travel guru and received a confirmed booking on email. Two days before the travel, they inform and apologise for cancelling the reservation due to overbooking. They could have done so immediately after the booking and why did they confirm when no space was available for the dates. Had no other decent hotels in my budget available in coorg by the time and had to cancel the whole trip suffering loss on travel tickets also. Would not recommend this homestay to anyone.

We visited in a group of 10 and booked two rooms . The place is away from the rush , amidst the coffee plantations n surrounded with trees all around . Definitely for those who want to experience the nature upclose. The host arranged camp fire for us and also provided us snacks n salads. The dinner was really awesome with two varieties of chicken. They treated us like family and also gave us a tour of the coffee plantations . Really had a great n peaceful experience. Remember to tag the location in google map as networks are not strong enough in most parts of coorg.

In the midst of the farms of spices, coconut and streams this homestay offers privacy and home kind of experience. The people who own this homestay were very warm and welcoming. Though it is difficult to reach this place, as sometime you find lonely before reaching. But it is fantastic after reaching. They have rooms in their house and also they have separate cottages which are better and offer much privacy than the accommodation option at their house. Food was great. Mr. & Mrs. Prakash, were really nice. Very tasty and homely food. The best part is they also had wifi connectivity and in such remote location. What else one could ask for?

The location of this homestay is superb. It is about 16Kms from Madikeri town. Finding the place could be a little difficult and I needed some guidance from the hosts as well as from people on the road. I stayed with my parents for 2 nights. The experience was amazing. The room was clean. The facilities were OK. Bathroom was large and clean. But the most attractive thing about this homestay was the home-made food! We had some of the best chicken dishes in a long time and thoroughly enjoyed all the meals! The value for money is also decent. I will surely recommend this place to anyone visiting Coorg.
