A wonderful calm descends on you as sip into the filter coffee and gaze at the greenery that engulfs you from all around. Far from the bustle of the city, the magical stay at Ibbani Cadu is sure to rejuvenate you to the core and fill you with absolute bliss. The rooms are spacious, the meals are soul quenching, the vibes are friendly and the tranquility is ethereal. The coffee plantation is a delight for nature lovers as you wake up amidst a variety of trees, flowers, butterflies and birds, specially the majestic hornbill. The warm staff, specially Ms Savitha, is always there with a kind smile.

How nice would it be to sip coffee amid chirping birds, floral scent of blooming coffee flowers and earthy smell? I am blessed, especially after the pandemic blues, to have this wonderful experience. Courtesy Ibbani Cadu, a splendid estate homestay in Coorg. It was a quick plan with some of my dearest friends. Ibbani Cadu Estate Homestay is about 6 km from Madikeri Town and is tucked amidst lush green coffee plantations. The place is easily accessible from the main road. We received a warm welcome as we entered the homestay, and the smiling and courteous staff made us feel at home. We encountered a built-in campfire at the entrance hall and walls decorated with beautiful paintings. Precious artefacts and vases had further enhanced the beauty of the hall. The rooms were spacious, spick and span and had queen-sized beds with clean sheets. During the entire 2-3 days of our stay, I found the staff impeccable. They took care of every minute detail. There is a common, attached balcony, where I sat and sipped my early morning coffee, with my surroundings shrouded in mist. A charming treehouse is also connected to the main building by a wooden pathway. The bathrooms were well maintained. The quality of the linen and the bathing towels were on par with any star hotel. We did an estate walk with Mr. Theertha, who enlightened us about the different species of trees and birds. It was indeed a very refreshing walk. With her excellent hospitality, Ms. Savitha, who took care of the food, made the already delicious food taste even more delicious. Here, one shouldn't miss having the Bread Pakoda; we enjoyed every bite of this mouth-watering stuffing. As far as sightseeing, we visited only Mangalpati, which is 35 km away. Ibbani Cadu staff organized the vehicle at a reasonable cost. Overall Experience: If you want to spend some quality time with nature in a well-maintained property with great hospitality, away from the hustle and bustle of city life, Ibbani Cadu is the place to go. I would highly recommend this Estate Homestay.

I booked this place to stay for 2 nights via a popular website. 1 days before we got a call that the hotel isn't functioning and had to cancel the booking. Upon checking it after few hours on other websites the homestay shows as fully booked. Strange!
