Three Hills is just the experience you need for a quiet, picturesque vacation.
The property is amid three hills, with a large, flattened green expanse in the middle of it. All the accommodations overlook a pond.
We stayed in a Swiss Premium Tent, which offered an amazing ‘glamping’ experience. The interiors are well supplied with lamps, a spacious bathroom with all necessary toiletries, and a porch to sit at and enjoy the view.
The food is GREAT. They have a delightful range of options and everything we tried was fresh and memorable. In case you need recommendations, try Chicken Coorg style. Chicken Mangalore style, and their tea.
The staff is professional and polite. Our guide for the morning trek was helpful and friendly. Staff members in the restaurant and the reception were very professional and mindful.
Overall, it was a lovely stay. Yes, you may find the property a bit off-track but that is the whole point of glamping.
NOTE: there are two routes to this property. In case you havent been here, Google Maps might direct you to a steep, narrow route. There is an alternative route, which is wider and safer. Ask the reps here at the Three Hills to avoid the former route.

Traveled to this resort at the wrong time of the year. It rained and rained and rained.... we had a booking for 3 nights and it didn't really stop raining on the first 2 days of our stay..we moved out after 2 nights as there was no point in just being holed up in the room. Its a 75 acre property and apparently this accommodation has been in existence since 2012. The head chef is 74 years old and has experience of working in the US and the UK and in Sterling Holidays in India. Food was great (although the prices will pinch your pocket), complimentary breakfast comprises of 2 types of breakfast (Day 1: Aloo paratha and Poha, Day 2: Poori Subzi and Chow Chow Bath) + 1 type of cut fruit.
The property is at a distance of approx 22 Kms from Madikeri and some portion of the roads leading upto the property are really narrow, broken in places, steep at certain other places, it'd be troublesome to head out of this property in the dark. The final 8 Kms from the Madikeri-Mangalore road to the property via Bettathur is going to be quite an adventure. Best times to stay per the staff are during the months of Summer and Winter. Rainy season is best avoided. Watch out for leeches if heading out for the Plantation tours etc.
Finally, the staff took the time out to decorate our cottage for our wedding anniversary. Must say, that it was well done.
Suggestion: the lighting in the cottage is really dim and it could make do with some brighter lights.

We stayed there for 2 nights and we felt like staying there for a week more. The location of the property is the USP, it is at the corner of hill and one would experience the extreme calmness of nature between 3 hills with a pond and a small waterfall.
Food is awesome
Service is awesome
Location is awesome
Complementary trek is awesome
4 extremely friendly dogs on property are awesome
Premium Tents are very spacious and comfortable
One should stay and just enjoy at the property.
Keep in mind
It is 40 mins drive from madikeri but it's worth the isolation.
There's network coverage issue since it is in middle of nowhere, however at property one will get 100% coverage via wifi

Went there in Feb 21. This is one of those picture perfect places one dreams of or sees in advertisements but rarely gets to see in reality. We were not prepared for the beauty of the place - nature at its best. Peaceful place ...surrounded by hills, a small pond with ducks, a natural stream and three of the friendliest dogs who almost wanted to come back with us! The property has a villa, some wooden cottages and luxury tents. The luxury tents are big and spacious with the right amount of furniture, big clean bathroom. The cook there is awesome, we ended up overeating every single day as the food was finger licking good. I have rarely seen the level of warmth that was displayed by the staff working there. I have to mention and thank Shiva, Kaushik, Sajjan , Budhodeb , Anjaniya for making our stay so memorable. We liked the place so much that we ended up extending the stay by a day. On the second last day of our visit the hosts too came and they were charming and people who appeared to be really interested in ensuring that people have a good time in their property. One can go for long walks ...enjoy nature and feel peace. Overall this is a place I would love to go back to rewind. I would give this place full marks in all aspects. The pictures on the website does not do this place justice, it is way more beautiful . And last not the least it is very reasonably priced. Thank you team 3Hills for a memorable stay

"we had an amazing stay at this resort, which is nestled in a stunning location surrounded by lush green mountains and a beautiful water body. The natural beauty around the resort made it a truly serene and relaxing experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always going out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The food was delicious and of high quality, with a strong focus on hygiene. Overall, a perfect getaway for anyone looking to relax and enjoy nature. Highly recommended!"

We went during off season, booked a luxury tent to stay. The place doesn't disappoint you when it comes to stay. It is located in midst of forest, sorrunded by nature away from Hustle and Bustle of the city. Staff and their service was exemplary, food was mouth watering and scenic beauty is breathtaking.

Secluded, good place to recharge. It is a no radiation zone and with the height of its location, internet connection can be disturbed, that's what makes it a good place to spend quality time with your family. Sanjay, the house keeping staff was always ready to refill our tea and milk pouches. Mithun from the cafeteria was a great help. Special thanks to Girish ji who took us around Coorg. Overall a happy experience.

Great place, offers exactly as promised. The landscape and excellently maintained and the staff is very polite and amicable. The pool view and balcony view as promised are pristine. The dogs, swans and cows on the property made our stay memorable. The ay Three Hills was able to encapsulate living in the midst of nature, while providing comfort is commendable. The children's play area and indoor games room gave us enough to do throughout the day. Food was also good, with a good variety of dishes at the complementary breakfast. Overall, beautiful people and beautiful property!
Manegers Mr.Amlam, Mr. Sajan, Mr. Pranay helped us tgoroughly through our stay. Staff members Mr. Mithun, Mr. Sanjay, Mr. Wilson and the watchmen were also exceptionally nuce and helpfull. Mr. Girish hosted our internal sught seeing activities and quickly became one of the highlights of our trip. He was like a family member taking us around hi hometown. Props to the whole team👏👏👏
Few down sides that can be an hindrance -
Wifi and network connectivity was very weak. so prepare accordingly
Current was almost never there, but the resort was able to employ the generator almost immediately
Staff service and communication among themselves was a little slow and mismatched.
Bottom line - visit Three Hills for it's landscape, the animals, and the friendly staff!

Hi the property has three belgian Shepard's and hence do not allow other pets in the property
Umm,there are two different types of stays, ones which are not cottages, are easy for them but the other ones might be a little difficult as they might have to walk a little downwards ,just like a small downslope to reach the wooden cottages.
