Amritasthanam is situated in a hilly area, little inside from the main road,  approach road of around last 1 km is little narrow, but easily accessible for the small vehicle too. Guesthouse owners Ganga and Pradeep are very friendly and regularly look after your needs and keep you updated.  They guide you for everything right from reaching the destination and planning your trip to visiting nearby places. All rooms were neat and clean and gives a beautiful view for nature lovers.  During our stay morning, Tea/Coffee was served with freshly homemade tasty muffins. Breakfast and dinner are available on demand.

We both stayed for 2 nights there during mid April of 2022. I have have positives to mention. 1. Inspiring and open-minded hosts. We Thank Ganga and Pradip who really made us feel comfortable from the time we arrived. Ganga is a very tireless, hardworking, attentive and a dedicated hostess . 2. Big Thank you for Praveen for housekeeping and the cook who cooked such wonderful meals. 3. We stayed on the top most floor with plantation view. Rooms are very neat with a private balcony. Cozy and well stocked with good bedding and ample light and air, yet adhering to privacy. Some rooms have a view towards the mountains and some near the plantation. Both are equally good since we got to see and hear lot of birds. 4. Tucked inside a plantation a few Kilometers from Madikeri town. A few meters of the approach road is raw but was manageable even though we were driving a hatchback car. Once we arrived near the gates the road is nicely laid and neatly maintained. Walking inside the property feels safe. 5. The 2 pet dogs are really a joy to the homestay. They were friendly, well mannered and groomed. Awaiting a re-visit.

To be honest, we went with very less expectations as this was a last minute booking for us. But this place had surprised and stunned us to the core. This is a wonderful place to get out of our busy, stressful life. It had the amenities of a hotel and the warmth of a home-stay. No one can match the caring attitude of dear Ganga and the energy of always young Pradeep. The view from the room's balcony was marvelous. The immense work put into building this place is clearly seen and the staff members were also very warm and courteous. An adventurous person is sure to fall in love with this place. Thanks to the owners of this marvelous place, Ganga and Pradeep, for making our visit a memorable one.
