Tried going to the resort as a walk-in guest. The security person at the gate did not even allow entry and behaved so rudely as if he owned the estate. I went there in a car with a driver and wasn't literally walking in from the road. I wonder if the first person one meets at the hotel behaves like this what may be the experience inside the hotel. I have not even come in contact with the reception and I felt so insulted. And this is not even a premium category hotel. I've been to so many luxury properties in Coorg including Taj, Evolve Back, Aurika, etc. where people are so humble. Never going back to this place!

It was an absolute pleasure staying at Meriyanda. The property is located about a 30min drive from Madekeri and is set inside a coffee plantation. Google maps will get you there without any problem. The cottages are really good and offer a 180 degree view of nature. But the best part about the place is the staff. They are cheerful and helpful. From front desk to housekeeping to the kitchen. It was an absolute delight. The property has steep climb at places so if you are travelling with older people you might want to book the cottage nearest to the reception. And last, but not the least, the food is great! It's tailor made as per your preference and they keep serving you until you can't eat any more!

Very nice place, good location, Wonderful staff, Complemented with a great cook. It is a massive estate & estate walk itself was an adventure to look forward to. The tiny water stream in 200 mts across the road is a hidden treasure. The cottages, & the large estate are really wonderful for someone who wish to have a get away, we really liked the no internet & network concept. We were a family of 6 people, from 10 yr olds to 70 years old, all of us have enjoyed the stay very well. Unfortunately the surrounding places were all closed as we went there right at the onset of 2nd wave of COVID, but the places around are so beautiful. Being a vegetarian with Jain meal option, they have taken a great deal of care in getting every meal is a great treat.

This was our first trip after the lockdown, and this was just pure heaven for us. It is set in verdant nature, which was a much needed break. Loved the cottages and the hospitality. The food was sumptuous and as per our taste and we enjoyed the service, room, and environment. This is now our favorite resort in Coorg and sure we will be back again in the future.
