Nestled on the hills of South Coorg, Bhagamandala is both a tourist spot as well as a place of pilgrimage. Bhagamandala is at the confluence of two rivers with a third subterranean one also supposedly joining in. On the river bank are temples dedicated to the Hindu trinity - Shiva worshipped as Bhagandeshwara, Brahma (along with an image of Subramanya) and Mahavishnu. Talacauvery, the source of the River Cauvery, is 7 km upstream. Karnataka Hotels Bhagamandala is located on the hillslope and offers panoramic views of the delightful Coorg landscape. The hotel is a compact one with 18 double bed rooms and a vegetarian restaurant.

If you are looking for a budget friendly hotel in Bhagamandala with decent amenities, then go for this. Food was good. Limited options but decent. Tea/coffee served was very good. Hotel location is calm and serene. Cleanliness well maintained. I would have given 5 star but found some minor issues like taps leaking. We had booked 3 rooms and one of the room had issue with the flush. Slightly better maintenance of facilities provided and it would be worthy of a 5 star. But still good place for the budget. Will definitely stay here again if i visit Bhagmandala again.

Namaskaram, We stayed for a day at KSTDC Hotel Mayura in Bhagamandala, Coorg. We were a large group of about 50 people who halted there on the day before the Flag off of the historic Cauvery Calling rally by Sadhguru at Talacauvery - the birth place of River Cauvery. The Manager and staff of the hotel were very pleasant and ensured all our requirements and provided us good food. Their hospitality was really great.
