It's a beautiful place, but got cheated by the host Ashwin. We booked this place from the 5th of Nov 2021 until the 10th. We booked 2 bedrooms via airbnb. The pictures shown to us were really awesome and the website showed that there were only 3 bedrooms in the property. So looking at the property anyone would assume that the 2 bedrooms would be connected to the balcony as shown in the pictures. The host never mentioned a word of 2 more bedrooms in the property that look like dungeons. With no balcony or a good view. I drove my family all the way from Hyderabad to coorg for some quality time but was in a state of shock when we found out that we had to spend our vacation staying in a dungeons. When we confronted the host he was blatantly lying about showing mentioning the other 2 bedrooms in the website. Long story short .. when you want to book this property please ensure that you have a written confirmation from the host that you would be getting the rooms with balcony and not the dungeon. I have pictures to prove. The host would also offer you a stay in another property he maintains which is way much cheaper than what you've paid here. Don't expect any empathy from the host for ruining your holiday. Instead he might ask you to cancel the stay and check for someplace else. If you are a victim of the same fraud kindly ensure that you talk to the organiser and make sure that they ask the host to cancel your stay so that atleast you get your 100% refund. This person came from Hyderabad assuming my homestay for something else and created a big scene on the property. They were so rude and started shouting at us and we had no clue why. I was trying to understand and help them and I offered them a resort cottage also as they dint want to stay in my homestay at the same cost or full refund. Long story short.. they got very weird and rude started clicking photos all over and my other guests were shocked and disturbed by their behavior that we had let them out of the property. Hi all, you can book us only on Airbnb. Please do visit us to experience a nature-friendly, coffee plantation homestay with homemade food & wine. :0
