Somewhat walkable
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
I visited with family and stayed in the hotel for 3 nights (28th - 31st Dec).
Property: The hotel is 2 kms before the Madikeri city if you are travelling from Bangalore and is on NH275, so its approachable. It has 3 floors; each floor has 6 rooms and ground floor has 4 rooms. Higher floors are of type Superior Deluxe rooms.
Mobile network connectivity is bit poor but hotel offers free Wifi and it works at good speed.
Rooms: The rooms are neat, clean and spacious and has all the basic facilities - tea maker, fridge etc.
Restaurant: The taste of the food was good and consistent. The restaurant offers very limited options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Cost is reasonable. Service is bit slow but fine.
The hotel offers tour options but the prices mentioned are more so check the price before confirming the booking. I took Jeep ride for Mandalpatti with pick up and drop from hotel. It costed me Rs 2200 but it was mentioned as Rs. 1800 on the pamphlet.
While checking out there was no option of paying through Credit/Debit Card.

We had a family trip with group of people to Coorg and enjoyed a lot , memorable stay, The hotel has a great view from super deluxe rooms, that faces the valley, you can see the amazing sunset from the balcony. The rooms on the top floor have a good view, ground floor deluxe rooms also luxury rooms but not much view from the room.The hotel staffs were friendly and helpful attitude, The rooms and bathrooms are extremely clean and higenic, thanks to hotel altitude coorg for giving us such a wonderful memories.

We had the best time of our life at the best place possible, one of the best hotel I have stayed & love to revisit. I stayed in Super Deluxe Room a perfect getaway in the nature to experience scenic, view from the balcony is superb!!, rooms are equipped in modern style and luxury with kitchenette, mini fridge and other amenities, i stayed on week days and got very good rate as i booked through their official website. Surly I will recommend this property to my friends and relatives.

Very nice hotel with wonderful upkeep of the hotel amenities and infrastructure. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious along with a big balcony. To my surprise the water pressure at the top floor was also very good in the washroom. Had food in the restaurant as well as through room service. The food was also very good in taste. Great value for money I would say.

Excellent service all around. I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. The staff were all very welcoming, professional, and polite, a good choice of different foods and how can i forget to tell about the beautiful landscap view of Coorg from the balcony. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and very very clean. I had a great housekeeper called Mruthunjay who always helped make my room comfortable to return to everyday. I will definitely stay here again.

We stayed in this place as was attending a wedding. The staff was warm and hospitable, helped drape me into a Coorgi style saree and helped arrange transport to the venue on all days. The place is centrally located and that made it convenient for us to attend all functions. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the food is good. We had a lovely experience.

Good room hassle free check in courteous staff. Over all a good experience the rooms are good and balcony is amazing over looking the greenery and mountain range which makes the view scenic. Good food in the restaurant- breakfast can be better with some variety but what was served was good .

I recently visited Hotel Altitude located in Madikeri.Its the most joyful place i have ever been.The breakfast is very delecious.Everything is available that we can look upto in a luxurious stay.Even the rooms are equallent to 5 Star hotel with kitchenette,mini fridge and other modern amenities, I stayed in super deluxe room,its really fantastic,beautiful view of western ghats, madikeri city and nature view from the balcony. Surely I will recommend this hotel to my friends and family and will visit in my next holidays.
