In the world full of mean people .. I just decided to give myself a break and be myself and enjoy every moment when I breath .. I’m just a teen uk it’s hard not at all a good stage. So I finished my boards and decided to vist Coorg but I wasn’t really familiar with places .. I browsed about some resorts and finally found this .. booked for 3 days and spent those 3 days like it was my last .. the staffs are sooo friendly I never expected people to be actually nice from inside .. when I wanted food at my room MR anuragh never complained and just stayed, he listened to all my dramas and was there with me no matter what, he made sure I’m happy. Apart frm the work life I found him to be genuine . I guess my holiday i have literally spent in the restaurant or the indoor games with Mr mahesh and Miss Almas. These people literally made me believe that yes there can be good times .., my experience here was amazing .. memorable I just hope it continues.. Thank you !!! You get a home feeling here .. ~Nayanthara 🖤 Written by heart 🤍…
What a beautiful property..and such amazing staff..we felt extremely taken care off. Our 5 yr old had the best time doing adventure sports with Nilanjana. She was very patient and extremely careful of safety. The restaurant staff was a delight and always accomodating. All the boys driving us around on the resort cars always had a smile and were available for any requests. I highly recommend this place and will certainly be visiting again.
Stayed two days at this luxurious resort. The name itself manifests the forest in Coorg in the most comfortable way. The suites are palatial, stylish, contemporary and are fitted with all modern amenities so that you have at ease experience and ensuring delightful stay at the best-price. The staff is polite and courteous and go extra mile to make your stay most memorable one. Would like to extend my thanks to Mr. Anuragh and Mr. Ram Thappa (chef) for arranging Jain food. In all I would say everything exceeds ones expectation. This is indeed a calm and lovely stay to rejuvenate yourself from the hustle bustle of a routine life.
Visited this resort for four days during the monsoon. We did have a couple of hiccups with the booking, and we had to change our room initially due to a leak in the ceiling which could have been tended to earlier. This, though, was more than made up for during our stay. Our visit was during the monsoon and it was raining cats and dogs nearly throughout the day. This was starkly contrasted by the warmth and comfort provided by the design and architecture of the rooms, and more importantly, the staff. The resort has rooms, the usual amenities, and activities. However, according to me, the one thing that makes this place special is the staff. I have not met a more courteous staff. The communication between the staff is excellent and there is a personal connection that is not matched. I am leaving out a lot of names, but I want to thank Ms. Akshata, Mr. Mahesh (who helped us with our coffee experience), and Mr. Mahesh (who helped us with out with any request of ours). Staff apart, the food was great too. I went with no expectations of the food. But the portions were massive. The taste was great. Really enjoyed it. It may have been better if we could have tried some of their coastal cuisine at Vembanad, maybe next time. There are some suggestions though, 1. The ambience in their spa massage rooms can be improved upon for a more pleasant experience 2. Maybe a choice of room can be given to some of the older guests who may not be able to walk too much or climb too many stairs I am giving four stars mainly for the hiccup during the booking time and for the fact that our room had to be changed initially due to a leak in the washroom ceiling which could have been tended to before our arrival.…
Third class service. Staff limited hotel fully occupied with 104 rooms due to long weekend. They are short of staff and not even able to serve hot breads to customers during dinner time and when i asked for hot bread one of the server said it is in buffet u can take from there, to which i said it is not hot so the reply was whatever is there in buffet you can take that. It is courtsey of 5 star hotel charging 29000 per night. Hopeless and ridiculous service. Did not expected such service from a hotel of this grade. HOPELESS is the word for this place.
Visited during the tail end of the monsoon season. Rained a lot but an amazing experience as you felt you were in a rain forest, because you were! Really de-stresses you the sound of the rain and the amazing environment. The accommodation and staff were amazing too. The latter could not be faulted. Plan to visit with family next time!
We had an amazing experience at this resort. Imagine waking up to a breezy morning surrounded by mountains covered with clouds, birds chirping everywhere. The rooms were spacious and very well maintained. We stayed in Groove View Studio room and in Groove View Suites, both the rooms are European style, have eclectic fireplace, big balconies with great views. Bathrooms are also huge with bathtubs with a view and luxury forest essentials toiletries. They have a infinity pool, a very equipped gym, adventure and fun activities, a well equipped big indoor game zone, organises nature walks and different activities for kids. The property is huge and have different places to sit and enjoy the views, services and food are good. A very special mention to Adith for his great service in the restaurant. We enjoyed the luxury stay cradled in nature. It was an excellent break from the hustle bustle of the city.…
The place was extremely comfortable. Weather was amazing awsome ambiance. Very friendly service. The hospitality is best. I want to recommend some name Ms. Richa & Manjunath. They are very helpful. They are very delight and always accomodating.
Fantastic colonial property set amongst lush greenery. We chose a balcony suite and was not disappointed by the palatial luxurious feel to the property. We found the resort to be very clean and the staff are also very helpful and accommodating. The pool is set with a backdrop of the neighbouring hills and the whole place is relaxing and refreshing. The rain also adds a certain magic to this property and there are also a few cheeky monkeys that pop up every now and then. We sadly didn’t get time to explore the spa facilities. There’s a few animals for the kids to meet on the property (cows, chicken, turkeys and rabbits). There’s also an activity treetop assault course (sadly with the rain we couldn’t utilise this). The breakfast was unanimously a hit with the whole group! Great variety of western and Indian cuisine ( the pain au chocolat was the best I have tried so far in India) I would recommend to take breakfast with the package and sample the seafood speciality restaurant (please note during low season they may have limited dishes but the dishes available are delicious) room service has a multitude of western cuisine and what better way to enjoy the suite than to hop onto the cosy heated bed and enjoy delicious food delivered to your door while enjoying the magnificent views from your balcony. The chef also made a huge effort to accommodate to the kids and their palates, which was greatly appreciated. Thank you to all the team members who were helpful, warm and welcoming especially Pressant, Pushparaj, Snigdha, Aravind & Harisha. The only critic I would have any is the laborious check in process filled with compliance checks ( the staff were super apologetic about this and one must remember it’s a process they are following) check out was also quite tedious (especially as we wanted to check out early at 5am) it dampens the experience on the lasting impression.. but then you realise what an lovely time you had and get over it pretty fast!…
The property is lavish and beautiful. The hospitality is commendable and the staff there makes sure that you feel like home. The infinity pool is surely a great spot to relax and click some amazing pictures. The service is on point and the food is finger-licking good. Even the activity room adds to your experience by offering you a number of interesting games. All and all it was a beautiful experience and I’m super satisfied with it.
