I had my stay at Riyavar from 7th May 2022 until 11th May 2022. I took a presidential suite with a family of 4 adults and 1 child. Property is well maintained and has a staff that you see running around to help you. Manager to each support staff is ready to do that something more with a smile to make your stay successful. Owners, Vinay and Shilpa are around to ensure the guests are getting homely treatment at the homestay. They guide you on how you can plan your site visits if you like. They have camp fire, coffees estate tour, boating in their lake and river. I personally did not explore that but other guests did enjoy.  Music speaker you can connect and play your favorite music over BT. Cycling, Trampoline and rain dance are something you can try here. Food options are limited but the preparation is local style and tasty. Don't miss trying PannaCotta especially the tender Coconut one. North Indian, Punjabi dishes even if on menu list did not see them being available during my stay. Somethings that I would like to share: Hot water: have seen this to be a challenge for my stay. Had to wait specifically in morning to have the water get available in the mornings. Power outage: observed tripping of power on average 3-4 times an hour. For me I felt this to be irritating more at night when you Air con's stop and you have to start manually. Be open to pests: You are in a forest so be open to flying pests, lizards and kinds. I had my bathroom filled by rain flies 1st morning that ventured in from exhaust fan. In deep silence of night you can hear some insect hyms. Day you check-in is only time your get: Soap and shampoo refill not a practice. Water bottle not given complimentary after room refresh. If you are CTC tea drinker, suggest carrying your pack. Tea flavour here is different. REMEMBER You are in coffee land.

It was one of the most beautiful experience I had. The owner and his wife greeted and guided us like a family. All amenities were of a good standard and the property is beautifully maintained amidst a estate. They also take you for an estate visit in a Jeep which was a first timer for me and had an awesome experience. The food quality was also awesome and had some most beautifully curated authentic dishes. If you are seeking for a relaxing time away from the hustle bustle of your daily city life, I would definitely recommend this place to you. It is truly a luxury stay with a homely feeling.

I am absolutely delighted to write this review out of sheer satisfaction of having the best family get away in recent times at Riyavar. Right from the start, we had an amazing experience. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. The booking process, the accommodation, the hospitality, the facilities and the location were all top class. Words cannot honestly describe what we experienced. One has to be there to feel what we felt. Shilpa and Vinay became our friends more than actually hosting us as owners of this wonderful and serene property. They ensured all through our stay that our room was taken care of, the food customised with a great variety of especially non-veg dishes (which we loved) and our site-seeing itineraries were suggested out of their experience and well-wishes for us. We also had the privilege of being driven by Vinay himself in their all-terrain modified jeep to their plantations, which was an experience by itself. We left the place with the fondest memories of a pleasant holiday in a home away from home!!

Superbly managed by Shilpa and vinay who are attentive generous hosts . They guide you well they take care of your personal choices. We were with them for two nights our personal choices were so well taken care off. They take you on their coffee estate ride nature walk, boating all rolled in without any extra charges Must mention food which was not just local fresh beautifully cooked , but very importantly very well curated menu taking care of tastebuds. Location, ambience, comfort, food, service, and above all, a warm, hospitable host. What more could one ask for? This is one of the few places where the owner is constantly hands-on’. The staff is highly motivated and you go the important ‘extra mile’ for you. The cooks churn up vast variety of food to make every meal exciting. One of the best places we have ever stayed at!
