We stayed a couple of days in Dec 2019 at the WW. Upon check in, we got a little skeptical about the place, services and food. Boy, were we proved wrong nicely! It is a very comfortable place, facilities and services are outstanding. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. We had taken over the main building with 7 rooms occupied. We were not sure if they would be able to cook for a large group of ours (14 ppl). They dished out a very memorable experience of dinner on both the nights. Karthik was very helpful with the overall arrangements. The chef (Raj) pretty much catered to our high demands ably assisted by Subbu and another individual.. Most notably, Phanish (property owner) was personally attending to our needs. We will certainly go back and stay at WW next time we will visit Madikeri.

Best place to visit.. I give 5 rates cz this is one of the best resort where we can stay in very tidy and beautiful place with very tasty food.. hope we'll visit again to this heaven.. I suggest everyone to visit this place..

Truly one of the best place to stay when you wanna tour or enjoy coorg. My verdict is " go for it"
Pros :
1. Surrounded by mother nature ! Greenary everywhere, treat for your eyes.
2. Customer first approach by the staff & Management & they went extra miles when it was required by us.
3. Little away from city but not far. So, we actually enjoyed our freedom to stay away from our hectic city life. In short, Nice, clean & well mintained neat place to stay peacefully & on top of that an Excellent location.
4. bonfire with dinner setup
Cons :
1. Mobile Network issue for BSNL (some times).
Pros :
1. Surrounded by mother nature ! Greenary everywhere, treat for your eyes.

Standard room was pathetic, full of black spots, showing no care during rainy seson. For upgrade they were asking higher amounts which finaly settle with paying some money after negotiation , as we reached late in evening and tough to find another place
Room service was non existent to say the least. We booked room for 2 days, and 2nday room wasn't cleanedup. Not even drinking water was provided. Even after calling them to change atleast bedsheet and provide wate but no one came back Fan not working, tough to switch on tv, lights were not also no there for quite some time. Even phone wasn't half charge keeping it in charge for full night.
Food was ok but very limited options in breakfast.
Room service was non existent to say the least. We booked room for 2 days, and 2nday room wasn't cleanedup. Not even drinking water was provided. I am from Hyderabad and booked a wooden house for Monday and Tuesday I,e Nov 20 & 21 2023.
I am really upset with the service. 2 out of 14 cottages are filled and they took 45 min to prepare tea/ coffee.whatever I order they take hell out of time and even food is not up to mark.
Since we don't have an option at night, we ordered here. Note: there is another resort beside this homestay Coorg Gadavana which is newly constructed and good. I felt very bad for not checking the resort besides this homestay before booking.pleade do your research

They ruined my vacation by canceling my booking and giving it to someone else. My family flew from north India and we had booked in advance from booking.com. They did not provide any reason why would they give the booking to someone else, without consulting me first.

Booked this property for 03N but had to stay only for a night. Not so great place when you travel with kids. No hot water, completely no network and upon that no wi-fi too. In order to get access to wi-fi we need to come out of our room and come near to the reception of the hotel. Good pick if you want to stay near to the all sight seeing places but if you just want to relax then it would be a nightmare.

We had booked this hotel through a friend for 6N. But left in 2N stay.
Please do not book the rooms looking at images shared by the hotel or online. Go in person and check as we made a mistake of booking the rooms based on pics sent by the owner.
1. The day we checked in, the room was filthy with cobwebs, dirty floor, leaking roof, bathroom dirty.
2. The villa was a family room villa with 2 bedrooms. The second bed room was very claustrophobic very small with a small window opening to the housekeeping bathroom.
3. The manager has no responsibility towards the guest. All he does is say sorry and pls understand. When complained all these things to the owner, all he had to say was “sir please understand we are short of staff and new manager” as if that is the guests problem.
4. NO HOT WATER i.e no geyser. WE have to tell the manger who sends buckets of hot water to the room.
5. NO WATER AT TIMES in the bathroom
6. Breakfast was included in the package, only one morning we got the breakfast, next morning they gave us one PARANTHA for 4 ppl after which we asked for more and the manager said it was over and replied “ if there aren’t much ppl they do not make breakfast”
7. WIFI has never worked.
8. They providing bon fire night which is a total SHAM, pathetic lights and speaker which does not work most of the time.
9. Please do not go on the pics showed by the hotel. All pics were clicked during opening. Now the place is terrible. Absolutely no maintenance carried out.

Had to cancel, due to the onset of the pandemic. Till date i have not received my refund. They have just one contact number. A fellow by the name of Abin Thamby. He has blocked all incoming calls. Looks to be a fraud company.whatapp messages are being read, with no reply.
