I had a bitter experience staying there for 3 nights with my family during May 2015. The room service was pathetic since it took more than half an hour after 2 reminders and the room cleaning does not happen despite reminders. The food is very costly and the staff was not courteous especially Mr. Rachan in the reception who is rude and not courteous. The hotel does not provide a proper bill and accept only cash. The room tariff is high and does not deserve that much. There are some good hotels nearby who provide good service with a reasonable tariff.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights with my family at the end of December 2014 for our tour to Coorg. This hotel is very close to Madikeri town; therefore close to most of the attractions at Madikeri in your Coorg tour. The hotel was very clean. The rooms were well organized, washrooms were clean, water heaters well functioning. Everything almost excellent about the 2 rooms that we took.

However we were not impressed with the food service especially breakfast service. We took the breakfast package; and it was served only after 8:30am which was late considering that we wanted to leave early for sightseeing. We stayed there for 2 days/nights; and the breakfast menu on both days was same. On the other side, we went for a dinner at the hotel on 1st day which was good.

Overall, I would recommend if you are looking for a hotel just for a stay (which is generally the case anyway if you are planning to tour Coorg and spend most of your time out sightseeing).

It is nice stay. It is located in a valley front. It is a good place to stay. Value for the money. Rooms are well maintained. They gave good discounts for group stay. If possible get room rear end next to the valley.

Me and my wife drove down here from Hyderabad and reached during the afternoon with a stopover in Bangalore. We had booked a room a month back after a typical search in Tripadvisor and booking using Agoda. The hotel receptionist told us there's no room available :-O. The manager (Rachan or something) told us that Agoda messed up the booking, Agoda don't even pay them.. blah blah. We have been using TA and its associated services for a long time. We are sure the problem is with the hotel (mis)management. The hotel must have overbooked. Imagine you are left stranded in the very first day of vacation after a long drive. We had no choice and started creating a scene. They eventually arranged a room in a different hotel in the outskirts of Madikeri. Left a bad taste in the mouth though. Avoid this place and book a room at a homestay. If there's no other hotel available, you can also stay at Kushalanagar.

We went to this hotel after a long search of hotels in and around Madkeri. Tariff was reasonable, Hotel is neat. But employees they are the worst especially one who was there in the resturant and person who was there in the reception. Even though the act to customers, the worst thing happned when next day when i went back to my car. i was surprised too see my car drenched in sambar. Dont know who have done that. But it was happened may be someone from the hotel and when asked about it. they dont have an answer.

Our stay at Crystal Court was an awesome experience altogether. Once reached, we were welcomed by the manager Mr. Sudarshan Das and team. Check in process was hustle free and really a quick one. The deluxe room which was offered had a great view of mountain range at one side and the city view on the other. Service and courtesy shown by each and every staff was great, room service was really quick and the food was just perfect. We really enjoyed our stay and wish to visit the same place again in future.

We stayed at Hotel Crystal Court during 13-15 August 2011. We booked this one, since we didn't get any other cheap deals for a stay in Coorg as we decided very late to travel. Though we booked a double room without AC, we got a Family room with AC. Not sure, why did it happen like this. May be they were not having the room, which we booked. Its maintained properly and is very clean. Our room was really spacious with a TV with almost all channels. 24 hrs Hot water facility. In Coorg, you don't need AC as its very cold every time. Only bad thing I felt is the options in food. All are like buffet type. Breakfast they are charging 75 rs and Lunch/Dinner they are charging 200 rs. We ate only once from there. If you come to Madikkeri town (1km) you will get some good food. We ate from Coorg Sahara (Since we preferred to eat some Kerala food).

Negatives:
--------------
They charge 1500 per room . The rooms are not worth that much by any means. Service was poor .. Had to ask everything twice to get things done. eg. no towel in Bathroom.. etc..

They charge different rates for cars for different people. We hired a car. Midway through the trip they said that extra money is required else they won't take us. We suffered a lot.

Positives:
--------------
Food is awesome. :Location of the hotel is good. Close to Bus stand.
