Stayed in this home stay for four days with family. The house is beautifully made. It has two bedrooms in the ground floor and one bedroom in the first floor. there are two beds in the open area in the second floor and there is a small sitout room with a beautiful view. I feel if the beds were placed in the sit out area it would be better. The bathrooms are neat but due to humidity there is moss on the roof. there are snails in the bathrooms too. The kitchen has basic cooking equipment including microwave, and gas, also a fridge and some vessels. There are a few essential items too like sugar, coffee, tea, oil etc. but the caretaker Sagar cooks in the same kitchen and he does not clean the vessels after use. he should not be allowed to use the same kitchen for cooking. The linen were not upto the mark. and needs upgradation. there were very few bedsheets and upon our repeated request for bed cover we were not provided with the same. the blankets were not dusted properly and because of which my daughter had dust allergy. the Drawing room and dinning area is nice with a small puja ghar too. The cloth drying area also had cloths belonging to Sagar the caretaker. It felt like he was using the house for himself in the absence of Host Sachin. Host Sachin was very cooperative in every respect but we did not get to meet him. There are a few eateries nearby and so food is not a problem. the road going to the bunglow is very very steep and chances are that you may find it very difficult to reach if you are driving a small vehicle. Overall its a quiet place away from the noice of the city yet easily accessible. If the few things pointed out by me are taken care of then I would highly recommend it.

We went there as a team around 17 members. We got very good support from them. There are many rooms with plenty of spaces and all the wood work are done very well to decor home. Climate also well and good. we have a separate kitchen room and massage room. we will really enjoy it. Price also affordable to stay...

This was surely a home away from home! A relatively big space with 3 bedrooms, a living room, dinning room, Puja Room and beautiful valley viewing room for relaxation. It gives one the complete experience of being at home. The caretaker Sagar is a warm and friendly guy, little difficult to understand the language, but speaks broken English. He was extremely helpful. The manager of the homestay ensured he called us to check if everything was okay during our stay. I would mention that as very good Professionalism. We ordered dinner through Sagar who recommended us some local home cooked food which was delicious. Chicken & Fish both very locally made and tasted lovely. We also tried pork from a local restaurant called Coorg Cuisines. It turned out quite well. A place was very relaxing and would recommend going there again.

This property is one of the best places to stay in Madikeri if you are travelling in big groups. A great cottage with great view of the valley and nicely tucked away in the city. The house is really in great condition, well maintained and well furnished. Can quite easily accommodate a large family (10+ people). Will look forward to staying in this place during my next visit to Madikeri.
