Stayed at Coorg Heights for 3 Nights and ohh what an amazing stay we had.. We were upgraded to a higher category room for free and the room had such a heavenly view.. Cool breeze and superb weather.. The reception staff boy was very helpful and kind. The hotel is located on a height and is well maintained. Rooms , beds and bathrooms are clean and new. The staff are very helpful and the breakfast is tasty and menu changed everyday. A few mobile Network issues but your phone needs to be off and disconnected when your on a relaxing holiday.. Would recommend this place , just amazing..

We had stayed at this property from 17th 10 19th Feb 2017 with my family (4 members) and booking was done through OYO Rooms.
- The Deluxe rooms were very spacious and rooms were alloted were provided in a very clean condition. The property is located atop a hill. The drive to the hotel from the bottom can be bit tricky unless u are experienced in driving in such a terrain, although it has laid with concrete blocks to enable u to drive up comfortably. The entry to the rooms is through nice balcony with a view of the valley (We were able to witness a very beautiful Sunset and Sunrise during the course of the stay). These were non-AC rooms although while booking, OYO had shown AC rooms would be allocated; but no complaints as the weather was pleasant enough and also, price for the rooms were within reason.
- Now About the staff, they were very polite and helpful but at times, we found the service very very SLOW; like one time they took almost an hour and a half before they delivered drinking water to our rooms. I believe they must be facing some staff shortage but u cannot always cite this excuse every time.
- The breakfast was complimentary as part of OYO Bookings. The restaurant was served hot and was hygienic; but again it was a buffet spread and they provided very limited options compared to other OYO Rooms i had stayed. They may consider elaborating the spread with few more items like at least boiled eggs, toast, cereals, etc. Also, it would help them better if they increased their menu options for Lunch and Dinner. Meanwhile, we found a very good alternative for dinner in a small eatery down the hill from the hotel that provided us with good options compared to the hotel.
Overall, it was a very favorable stay and a very nice property located strategically. My only suggestion to them would be to improve their Room service in terms of promptness and elaborating their food menu.

Ritesh was very helpful the canteen staff was good and the food excellent

If you select superior room then you will get some mountain view.
Stayed in room 403 which is a superior room but view was blocked by a tree.
Very small property of 16 to 20 rooms only.
Nothing to do within the property.
Madikeri city is approx 3 km from this place.
Breakfast is pathetic so avoid taking it in your package.
Staff is unprofessional, actually there is no proper management.
Won’t recommend this property to stay.

I had visited with family and booked 2 rooms for 2 nights and paid 18100/-. So 4500/- per room per night.
At this price point, I would expect clean rooms, good food, atleast a tasty breakfast.
But none of these were up to our expectations.
Firstly, one of the room was smelling like drain water, the quality of food we ordered for dinner was only average. And Breakfast was very disappointing.
However, the only positive point about this resort was, every staff were very courteous tried their best to make our stay comfortable. Special Thanks for Ritesh.
Having said that, at this price point, you will get better options in Coorg.

This is a recently opened and there is some construction work still happening in the resort. The road inside resort leading all the way up is very steep and it may not be easy to to steer vehicle upwards. Safety is also neglected at that angle. Resort staff was very courteous and helped us in taking the vehicle upwards. The food options are quite limited and it is mostly fried stuff like chola bhatura, bonda, etc. for the breakfast. Food taste is decent. The best part of the resort is the amazing valley view it offers and it is always very breezy away from the city's hustle bustle. We went during monsoon and it was quite cold in the resort, an experience totally worth living.

We stayed for 2 nights in April 1st week. Staff is very courteous and helpful. Food quality was good. Room and bathrooms are clean.
Only issue is related to parking and I believe they working on this to make additional parking.

I discovered this hotel completely by accident. My bookings for another property, surprisingly, got cancelled and my travel site recommended Coorg Heights Resort. Since I was 3 days away from my trip, I accepted the recommendation immediately so as to not hamper the rest of my plans. I hadn’t had the opportunity to take a look at the property before making the decision.
The day I was to reach the property, the staff periodically confirmed as to what time I was going to make it. I reached the hotel, it was pouring. The approach road is on a steep slope that is tricky to navigate. My car, unfortunately, did get stuck and the staff was extremely kind to help me in that situation.
Before checking into the hotel, I had asked for a room with a good view. And boy did they deliver.
We were escorted to a room on the first floor, the balcony opens up to the valley. The view was breath-taking. Whenever you entered the balcony, you had a gush of cool fresh air hitting your face.
The rooms we stayed in were large, with a big comfortable bed. The bathrooms were huge and clean. Breakfast and dinner were on the house and it was extremely delicious.
The property had Wifi only in the cafeteria area, but not in the room. This didn’t bother us since our objective was to disconnect.
We stayed here for 2 nights and the experience was great. Everything about the property from the staff to the rooms was Amazing.

Positives :
Good Help full and Very Supportive Staff .
Good Food options inside the resort and also in the cafe near the entrance of the resort .

don't know number of rooms 12 rooms or 16 not sure . There is no bar. food both non veg and veg is available there.
Space to roam around not much but the views from balcony and hotel is good ,... you can spent some time enjoying the view
