I stayed at the Daswal's for a couple of days. It is located at a walking distance from Madikeri bus stand. The place was clean, rooms spacious and it had everything I needed for the 2 days of my stay. The breakfast was nice and so were the people serving them. They were always at our disposal them. They also took us to their backyard (to show us their garden and the Mulberry tree where they got the fruit for the fresh juices they were serving). While I had a plesant stay, what stood out for me was the hospitality of Sanjay and Sashi. They were very polite, helped us with out itenary. Following points to note for the travellers: 1: The hotel does not have a lift. So please ensure that you ask the hotel to give you a lower floor if you have elder people with you. 2: The location of the hotel is incorrect on Google maps. Search for Vivus hospital to reach the hotel. Requesting the Daswal staff to get it corrected.…

We had a wonderful time staying at Daswal B&B. The highlight of the stay was definitely Sanjaya and Shashi who made sure our every need was met. They gave great tips on where to go and what to explore. They even helped arrange a jeep for us to visit Mandalpatti. The room was very spacious and well equipped. The breakefast was absolutely amazing with a very friendly, sweet lady serving it! All in all this place exceeded our expectations!

Very good staff and nice clean place to stay, feels like a home to stay. Good breakfast and good beds ... Sanjay and Nagesh are very helpful, you feel refreshed after stay at Daswal.... good connectivity just 1 kms from main town circle and close to restaurants

The property is at the heart of Madiketi town still it is away from all the noise. Rooms are cozy and comfortable. Breakfast is really yummy. Staff is very helpful. We stayed there for 3 nights. Sanjay made sure that our stay was comfortable. He suggested us places to see and helped us plan an itinerary. He did all the arrangements for new year's celebrations as well. Bonfire, music, food everything. This was indeed a very happy new year.

The hotel is very well located close to the city but away from the noisy people. Two young boys Mr Shashi and don't remember name of the other guy who was very much active are doing a great job. They both manage full hotel consisting of 12 rooms. They provide with complimentary buffet breakfast also which tastes awesome. The cleaning work is looked after by the ladies. And this is the reason the hotel is very much clean. Hats off to the both boys. They make u comfortable. They help u in sighseeing guiding arranging taxi or rickshaw. Guiding for best realstaurants. Overall it was my best stay in madikeri. I really recommend this hotel. Only drawback is there is no lift.

Firstly the positives- (1) excellent home made breakfast- such yummy upma, fluffy idlis and vadas; (2) friendly staff; (3) nice comfortable and spacious room and bathroom; (4) excellent location in the heart of the city. Negatives- (1) hot water may be occasionally a problem due to non functioning of solar heater; (2) shower etc. do not work properly.

Hotel is located at Centre of the Madikeri n all scenic places are at walkable distance. Driving around nearby mountains makes you go crazy... Great staff to assist you and have visited with friends and families.

Stayed there and found the staff to be very helpfu and supportive. However, it does not have lunch or dinner facilities. But the location is good which was a positive point and we went outside to have food. Entire market is nearby to this hotel but you cannot just walk around.
