Rang all the bells and blew all the whistles! Perfect and beyond! Tastefully decorated; "log" fire; comfy beds and furniture; everything possible in the kitchen; tv had Sky with all channels...yay! Great view of the mountains from bedroom and kitchen. If you want a front proper mountain view ask for one when booking. Pity the shower was in the bath...

We stay regularly in Hanmer Springs and would never consider staying anywhere else. The St James is well positioned in Hanmer and within easy walking distance to the wide variety of restaurants, shops, thermal pools and activities. All units have a luxurious feel, and provide quietness and relaxation. Views from the balcony add to this feel. The staff are courteous...

While the motel was very close to the shopping and restaurants area of Hanmer Springs, it also was on a side road and thus...

Our first stay was exceptional. We immediately booked a return visit for a longer period in peak time. Room quality, service quality, amenity and location are second to none. Nothing is too much trouble for the management and staff team. Free towels for the pools, free DVD movies for the evenings, morning newspaper, 5 mins walk to village centre and...

Could not fault anything about this accomodation. Clean, neat, tidy, well appointed, the fixtures and fittings of extremely high quality, the service great. We had an apartment on the first floor and the sun shone in the bedroom in the morning and the living area in the evening. 5 minutes walk from the hot pools and towels were provided on...

The rooms are spacious, clean and well designed. Everything is good quality and tastefully done. We stayed on the first floor which had direct access to the park and provided some extra fun for our son. Location is perfect. 5 minutes walking distance from the hot pools. Hotel provides towels for the pool visit which is very convenient. We were...
