We had not visited this part of Queensland for a while, so decided to return to the cottage that we had stayed in previously. The cottage had been painted inside and out and was nice and warm inside thanks to the fireplace. Outside it was minus 2. So close to the tavern and bistro and a short drive to many... More

Although boasting five bedrooms and three bathrooms we were dismayed to find that three bedrooms were open to the rest of the house. One on a landing above the kitchen table area open apart from a railing. Two others were just partitions with no roof . Not suitable for several couples. It would be ideal for two families with two... More

The barn is really comfortable and very generously furnished. The nearby Ballandean Tavern provides a wide range of good quality meals for very reasonable prices and there are lots of wineries and other attractions very close. The only thing that would improve this property would be more single beds. We were a mixed group of couples and singles and organising... More

We stayed 28-30 July on 2 very cold nights. Our booking was done on the basis of a trip to a brass monkey area, our requirements of a cute county cabin with a big fireplace, rustic and accomodating in all facets. Well we weren't disappointed in any manner wotsoever. Wot a find in a lovely place Ballandean. Kurrajong cottages has... More

We stayed in the Cottage over Easter and had a great time. Its rustic, cute, cosy and very comfortable for a couple (or 2 couples) and has everything you could possibly need. It is within walking distance of the Ballandean tavern which serves decent pub grub and the cottage is perfect place to come home to later on. There is... More

KURRAJONG VINEYARD COTTAGE The most delightful cottage set in a picturesque country setting. The veranda was a favourite spot. Early mornings and evenings we were entertained by dozens of white-tail bunnies and kangaroos arrived to graze on the front lawns. The Ballandean Tavern within walking distance provides delicious meals. Highly recommend Kurrajong Cottage for some R&R in the country. Our... More

We arrived at the perfect spot, we booked the barn for 3 couples to celebrate a birthday and couldn't have found a better place. Weather was great, nice and cool at night for a fire and heaps of room. Lots of birdlife, lovely sunsets and walk to the pub.. and we got to use the new barbie whoo hoo!. Like... More

We booked the barn for 5 couples and found it to be better than we had imagined. The photos on the website do not do it justice. The 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 lounges with fire places and the kitchen were well appointed and the outdoor areas were fantastic. We loved the rural location, the views of the sunset and the... More

We stayed in the small cottage for three nights and had the most wonderful time. The cottage is rustic and charming. There is a Well equipped kitchen and lovely open fireplace. This place is great for up to five couples. We do family reunions here and love it. Wood fires. Comfy beds. Breaky in the fridge. Lots of room out front covered for BBQ etc. Handy to wineries, Ballandean Tavern and the village. Rhonda and Noel are attentive but not fussy. Highly recommended.
