We stayed here for 2 nights. There was a party every night and that was a bit too much for us. The beach is right across the street. The rooms are clean, with a fan and a good bathroom. We moved on to a cabin on the beach 15 minutes down the road for an amazingly relaxed weekend on the...

Spent quite alot of time at Kokopellis over the Easter weekend. I arrived by myself not knowing anyone and I left with some great new friends. The staff and volunteers working here are really cool, helpful, fun, good looking, informative and a little crazy round the edges. The pool could be a little cleaner, but it was a daily talking...

Just stayed here for 2 days. It was fun, there were lots of other travelers, the pool was nice during the heat of the day and it was quiet that I could sleep at night. The surfing was right across the street as well. The pool area was always busy but it wasn't a wild party. There are cheaper places...

While the party atmosphere is not really my thing, this hostel had cheap dorms and the people there were nice. Location was walkable from the beach, good restaurants, and all of the bus companies. Reception was great in recommending an awesome tour with a guy named Edder, who took us to see sea turtles (got to swim with them), as...

Everyone in hostel speaks English which is great because I have no Spanish. Very friendly people especially carlos who works behind reception. Right on road side which means rooms close to road can be noisey but other dorms are located away from room and bar so you can always get a good nights sleep as opposed to Loki as its...

Fantastic hostel!! By far the most sociable (yet very chilled) place I have stayed in South America. All the staff are cool and socialise with the guests who are either surfing at the beach, playing ping-pong or just chilling by the pool. It was a busy but not party hostel and there were no cliques to divide everyone. The breakfast...

Koko Pelli is a really great option for people who are up for a drink around the bar and chatting with fellow travelers but also value a decent nights sleep. The bar and kitchen are both great, whipping up some great food and drinks, the grounds are really good too with some great places to just relax. The room with...

This is a good option if you’re not so keen on the loud atmosphere of Loki. The bedroom and bathroom are good size, good bed and good showers. We didn’t have many issues with crickets or mosquitoes; the screens on the windows are good. It is quiet at night but still has a good atmosphere. The bar is good, food...
