Mancora is full of overpriced lodging so just know that first. Palosanto struck a nice balance with its value though. Okay breakfast in the morning. There's a pool and bar but I never used either. The hotel isn't far from anything in town,it just doesn't have a beach front. That's what I liked...quieter. I even had a whole 8 bed...

After staying one night in Loki we decided it was a bit too much party for us as we wanted to go surfing in the mornings so we took a walk around town checking out all the hostels. Immediately Palosanto stood out to us, as it had everything we were looking for: a ping pong table, beer pong table, pool,...

This place is perfect if are looking for a cool hostel to bash and crash! It is 5 minute walk from the beach and has a decent sized pool and bar serving happy hour drinks. Our dorm room was basic (with private lockers) although we were right next to the bar so we stayed up until it closed! Staff were...

The place is absolutely amazing and the bar by the pool just finishes it off! The place is big enough to relax for a day and not get fed up with the area. Wifi is available everywhere and quality of drinks is also good :) The quality of the sleeping area is a bit less as the bathroom wasn't really...

The great thing going for it is its location it is super close to the beach not more than 5min walk as well as the shopping areas and restaurants. Really great restaurant right next to it actually. Nice hostel, good location. Staff tries to help with everything. Restaurants, little supermarkets, diving and kite shop are close by. Mancoras party area is just a 5min walk. Short walk to the beach. Included breakfast sucks - cold scrambled eggs, worst coffee ever, tea tastes salty and soapy. Just a tiny bit of butter and marmalade. Had major water problems...

Kokopelli was the second place we stayed in Mancora, and a million times better than the first! ALL of the staff were friendly, amiable and accommodating. The pool area was great, with an actual table in the pool next to the bar, where the drinks were fairly priced. Really enjoyed the atmosphere here at night as well- friendly bartenders, friendly...

Had originally booked to stay four nights, but ended up leaving after my first. Let's start with the positives: great pool area, plenty if spaces to chill out and a great location in the heart of Macora itself. However, I found the staff to be disinterested and rude. In particular the foreign guests who were both staying and working there....
