21°23'9.66"N 98°59'15.61"W We went to this hotel to visit the gardens of Edward James, Las Posas. When we got there, around 18h00, it took the clerk a long time to find our reservation and I had to help him. The reservation was written in pencil (not ink) and was therefore difficult to find. We had reserved 2 rooms and we...

We arrived there a little late so we had to get a suite just for my wife and me. The suite was located in the 4th floor downstairs (No elevator). Evenwhen the room has no AC, it was great because the door and window was in front of the pool. There is cheap beer in the loby.

There are more hotels in Xilitla than are listed on Trip Advisor. During the summer, they were not sold out, even though the allotment on Trip Advisor was....

Our room was 550 pesos a night for 3 of us (2 adults and a little one). Very clean, spacious and modern bathroom, a/c, TV - everything worked! Great views of the mountains. Nothing fancy but well worth the money. Only irritation was that the nearest restaurant (for breakfast) was quite a walk (i.e. climb!) away. (Without a/c was much...

My girlfriend and myself stayed there to visit "Las pozas de Edward James" and since El Castillo was fully booked they recommended us hotel dolores which according to our walkarounds in xilitla seemed like the second best choice after El Castilo. Especially for the price, one night cost 230 pesos (around 20 dollars) for the most basic room was basic...

We stayed here last March 18th for one night. We had 2 double bed rooms. Hotel is run by family members. Only 22 rooms. AC, Cable TV, private bathrooms with hot water. Very friendly people, always willing to help. Rooms from $35 to $50 USD depending on the number of beds. The $50 room has 3 double bends but no...
