My husband and I spent six lovely days at Treasure Beach Hotel in January 2013. The room was tidy and pretty. The two swimming pools overlook the ocean and are kept clean by a dedicated staff. The meals we ate each morning were tasty and served by the kind and friendly, Lorna. We enjoyed visiting with Lorna, hotel manager Melanie...

Let me start by saying I work in a luxury hotel in Boston. I know amazing service when I see it, and this place? Has amazing service. Keep in mind that everyone travels different. When you travel, do as much research as possible before arriving. If you're looking to see part of the island that is local, Treasure Beach is...

I was fortunate enough to stay here for 4 days. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. Very quiet and serene. Loved my garden view room with patio. Clean room, clean sheets and a working air conditioner. Only fault was need more lighting on the property. Would go back again. Soaked in the local sights. angella, nj

I had a fabulous time at Treasure Beach Hotel. That being said, there's some good and bad aspects with this hotel. I personally took the bad with a grain of salt, but I do think the bad should be pointed out to other travelers in orde for them to make the best decision. The good: The hotel is relatively secluded...

Treasure Beach hotel is the treasure of Frenchmen's Bay. The area actually got its name from the hotel; Treasure Beach Hotel, built by a German development earlier. The hospitality is warm and friendly. Treasure Beach is an escape from the tourist traps of Jamaica, where a walk along it beach is undisturbed by vendors etc. Day excursions to Black River,...

Was booked at this property for 6 nights while on business in the Treasure Beach area. It provides a beautiful setting overlooking Frenchman's Bay. Our room was located on the side of a hill and from the balcony we could see one of 2 pools below as well as having a panoramic view of the bay and adjacent beach. While...

My husband and I spent a wonderful 2 weeks at Treasure Beach Hotel in February, 2012. If you're looking for 'real Jamaica' and a tranquil place to rest, restore and revive your energy...this just may be the place for you. Melonie and her staff of wonderful people are an important part of the rejuvenation that you can find here. It's...

We stopped into a number of hotels along the main beach road in Treasure Beach. The place we booked on line was not to our liking and we moved after two days. This hotel is a winner. Its old and a little run down in the exterior painting department, but it is after all, subject to the salt air. The...

Have to preface the review by saying that even though I am a huge Jamaica fan...not so much for Treasure Beach. Why? Because the water is not like the rest of the Island. It's grey in color, horrible for snorkeling and too rough to swim. Yes, the people who live there are laid back and very friendly. You will not...

After not going to the Caribbean for several years we returned this year to Treasure Beach, finding it as friendly and efficient as before with the majority of staff still the same, which speaks for itself. Nothing was too much trouble, and, in fact, we extended our stay. This small hotel has a special ambience, and is unique - a...

“Ocean fronts are definite hit with this property. TV's are not nice but who cares at the beach front...if travelling by car ask locals rather than following google maps. There are some real bad roads waiting to trap you....”

“Rooms 49, 51, 53 and 55 had the best outlook along the beach. They are upper ocean rooms. I wouldn't recommend the ground floor rooms as they have no outlook due to the tropical growth of the gardens.”
